  • Family Vacation

"Our experience at this cozy cabin was once again wonderful! Our family of 4 adults and 2 kids fit perfectly in the space of the cabin. We loved the outdoor covered deck and fire pit along side the Swan River. This location is convenient to several shopping areas and mountain trails. We will definitely return to this cabin in the future. Thank you for providing such a wonderful vacation home!"

  • For the price it would be hard to beat!

"In effort to save pennies and spend more resources in activities this is property delivers. I would stay here again. The owner was courteous, workable, and responsive. This is an RV Resort just outside of the main town by a couple of traffic lights. The resort and property are well kept, clean, safe, and practical. Upon first entering...the 5' upper ceilings which house two sleeping areas and TV, small space, and lack of storage almost made me call and beg for a refund. The property resembles the size of an unexpandable RV. After thinking about the cozy nature of a smaller space and saving money, we made the choice to stay and I have to say we really enjoyed it! I bring my own linens for places like this and I would advise anyone staying here to do the same (if you are picky). It has a lovely backdrop of a nearby mountain to hike, the river is within a short walk and the resort amenities were much nicer to use than expected. 5 star folks, Give this one time to grow on you, I'm glad we did. One of the perks was the pet policy and front porch w gate for our sweet furry friend to enjoy a sunbath. Bring the bikes for the kids as the community was super-respectful of little ones playing in the streets. Our neighbor had thirteen families staying at different properties within the resort. Good idea for large groups vs a hotel where the kids run around the hallways to visit friends. Advice to owner: please include extra storage possibilities in the master bedroom. A small stand alone hanging rack would help. Thank you for sharing your cozy and clean property Lisa!!"

  • Awesome place

"This Chalet at Tiger Run was Awesome. 4 adults stayed here and was quite comfortable. The place was neat and clean and nicely decorated. There is no need to stay at the mountain side resort and pay top dollar when you are able to stay at Gary's Place at Tiger Run and still enjoy a very short trip to either Breckenridge or Copper Mt.( which we did) at a greatly reduced lodging price. If your planning a trip to this area, during any season, plan on staying at this cozy mountain Chalet at Tiger Run. I promise you won't be sorry. My friends and family will be back for sure."

  • I would love to keep this cabin a secret, but it just wouldn't be fair!

"We travel to Colorado about 4 times every winter for skiing. We intermittently stay at rental properties and hotels. For this stay, we were looking for a cabin with a little bit of a yard, as we were bringing our dog from TX to play in the snow. This little cabin is the best rental property we have stayed at so far and in many ways was better than most hotels. We arrived on a Dec 1st to a spotless, amazingly well decorated cabin. My girlfriend was amazed at the fact that it was already decorated for Christmas! As we settled in, we were very impressed at how well appointed the property was. Everything and anything you could need for a winter stay was there. Outside of the typical things like blankets, coffee products, cleaning products and such, there were also such niceties as walkies, travel coffee mugs, flasks for the mountain, carabiners, candy and a welcome bottle of wine! The little cabin spoke to my OCD, as there was a place for everything and everything was in it's place. We stayed for a week in which we were planning to ski daily, but this cabin made us want to stay in and enjoy all of the amenities it had to offer. We watched Netflix in bed till late one day, as all of the rooms have their own TV with AppleTV, then spent the morning walking our dog off-leash through the resort. There were several other dogs there and an area designated for dogs to play in, so he loved it. We cooked throughout our stay, as the kitchen was as well-stocked as the one we have at home! A couple of the nights we spent some time in the indoor hot-tubs and played in the rec-center and wrapped up the evening watching football while roasting s'mores on the fire pit. On the days we went skiing, we drove to the bottom of Peak 9 (the lifts and Breck are about 10 mins away by car - there is also a shuttle from the resort), where parking was right off the lift and only cost $15. We also drove to Keystone, which was 25 mins away. The cabin felt spacious to us, as we were only 2 people plus our dog. I think it would be a perfect fit for 4 adults, although the 2 loft "rooms" are better for kids, since the ceiling is only 4 or 5 feet high. I will say that the only thing that wasn't perfect about this house was the noise the HVAC puts out, specifically in the master bedroom. We are not light sleepers, so this did not affect us much. All in all this cabin made our Breck experience incredible. We can't wait to come back or maybe make this a yearly thing!"
