"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not enough space here to lavish the compliments! Best vaca home ever! More than enough of EVERYTHING! Top quality from appliances to towels to decor. Was glad to be surrounded by God's word, knowing we were in a fellow believer's home. Only downside for a summer rental is proximity to loud traffic, bc we had to leave the windows open since no A/C. The cool fresh air made up for the noise factor, but I suggest that it be disclosed in future ads. Hate to even mention it bc our week was so great and everyone was so impressed. Not even any surprises discovered later in our stay. I would select THIS house again. We have stayed in several houses this way with all family members in separate bedrooms, but this was our fav so far! Thanks for providing 2 or more of everything! Made it so easy for all of us to cook together! Esp the 2nd kitchen downstairs! Awesome!!"Guest: Sandy Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 31, 2014View listing
"I have stayed many places in Breckenridge and just outside. This is at the top of my list. The condo backs up to Cucumber Gulch, which is a great little hike and preserved area for wildlife. We even saw a moose this time in Cucumber Gulch. The location has great views of the mountain peaks and you feel like you are really out in nature, yet if you want to go to Breck, it's literally about 2 minutes down Ski Hill road to anything you want to shop for or eat. The condo itself is great inside. The kitchen seems brand new with granite and great appliances and opens to the family room, which is spacious. The bedrooms are down stairs (think of a reverse ranch style house). There are 2 king beds and 2 twin beds so there is plenty of sleeping space. There is a deck off the main floor with a nice grill so you can have a nice dinner outside if you are a summer renter. It's obvious that the owners want their home to look and feel right. It' has great amenities all throughout. There is a hot tub right out the master bedroom door on the lower level that is great. I recommend stepping out the sliding door of the master bedroom each morning and walking 1 minute to the open center of Cucumber Gulch. If you want to get in to the center of Breck and don't want to mess with parking your car, you can walk a short distance to the gondola at the Shock Hill station. The condo also has a one car garage, which is great if there is any summer rain. Patti, the owner, is terrific. She even changed her schedule to accommodate mine when we needed an extra night. She is just a very nice person and very easy to work with. Overall, this is a highly recommended place and we plan on returning in the near future."Guest: Dylan K. "We just got back from our summer visit to Summit County. Having just sold our condo in Wildernest, we still love coming to the area so after 8 years we found ourselves looking for a place to rent. My husband and I felt at home in this unit. We only used the car to eave Breck because everything was in walking distance. We would book this unit again in the future"Guest: Maureen C. "We spent a week over the 2013 Christmas holiday in this is outstanding 3-bedroom condo. Location, location, location--it's only a short bus ride from the base of Peak 8 at Breckenridge. The bus to Peak 8 stops about a block up the road from the condo, and the Nordic Center is less than a block away, down the road. The living room is comfortable, and connected to the kitchen through an open area that seats 6 comfortably. More than anything else, it feels like you're staying in a home, rather than a rental property. The owner has thought of everything, from the 2 humidifiers to help with the dry air, to the kitchen stocked with spices and other items to make cooking easy. The listing description and photos are accurate, and the place was clean and well maintained. The owner was helpful and friendly. I would absolutely rent this place again, and recommend it without reservation to others."Guest: Pat R. Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: December 29, 2013View listing
