  • Better than the description

"We are just back from our weeklong ski trip to Breckenridge and our stay at Elk Ridge. I had some concerns about an early season ski trip but we had great conditions. This unit was ideal. I must stress that the free bus stops at the unit less than 15 yards from the front door. The 2 minute bus ride will take you to the bottom of Peak 9 or you can take another bus to Peak 7 or to the main Gondola station. If you must jump right on a lift you can walk about 75 yards down to the Snowflake lift. Our family of 9 had lots of space to eat and hang out. The furniture is in good condition and the unit was well stocked with kitchen supplies and linens. The property manager was very responsive during the entire process. Finally, nice the hot tub was my recovery system so I could ski 6-7 hours each day."

  • Great Holiday

"I would like to thank Mona for the use of her fabulous Condo yet again this year the location is second to none for the ski lift and the town. As usual all the furnishings were great and as described we will certainly be going back next year for our third year thanks again"

  • Great location and Good condo

"The location is excellent and it's about a 200 yard walk to one of the ski lifts and ski schools. The condo is very small with tight walking quarters as it was almost like staying in a motor home. There were a ton of dust bunnies under the bed and a couple of other locations that could have been cleaner, but overall the condo was pretty clean. Neighbors hanging out in the interior hallways can be noisy at times but luckily it was always just brief. The bed linens aren't really very nice. The pillows are old and are of random variety. I think it's time for a replacement of bed linens. It would be very helpful if there were clear instructions on how to use the TV's and the internet. The owner initially responded to text messages and helped out on the internet but no responses from multiple texts on how to get the bedroom TV working. I tried numerous ways to switch to "cable" as instructed, but there was no option for "cable," only "component," which still didn't work. I don't think the TV actually works in cable mode, however, the DVD did work. We didn't try the hot tub and didn't see anyone else using it either. I'm going to bet that the hot tub is rarely used. Overall we were perfectly fine with our stay and overlooked the couple of minor issues. This is a good condo and a fine stay, but it could be better if the issues I've raised were addressed."

  • Incredible accommodation for a 12 day stay with my family

"I am embarrassed that it has taken me 2 months to write a review but it has been a busy winter. Me, my husband and our 6 year old son stayed here after Christmas for 12 days and could not have chosen a better place. There was so much room to spread out, the beds were comfortable and the owners have gone out of their way to ensure that you have everything you need (family games, humidifiers, ample kitchenware, firewood, on and on). The property is so convenient to the Maggie, ski school, obviously the slopes and our favorite restaurant "The Quandary Grill". It only took us about 5 minutes to walk from the room to the pool and hot tub and it was such a pleasant surprise to find out that we could get to it through the Heated, Covered Parking Garage. My son's favorite part about the condo was the double KING bunk beds. He felt like a king. The whole family enjoyed smores and hot dogs over the fireplace on more than one occasion. The coin operated washer and dryer were literally steps from the room which made it convenient since we were there for so long. Marty and John even went out of there way to send additional firewood when I shot them a text asking where I could pick up some more! Which by the way, "The Store" has everything you may need while on vacation and is only about an 8 minute walk as well. Great views, excellent hospitality, cleanliness and so much more. We will definitely be staying here the next time we come to Breckenridge!"
