Make Blue River Condo Rentals Your Mountain Home

Nestled in the mountains of Colorado, Blue River condo rentals put you at the front door of the best hiking in Breckenridge. Your Blue River lodging is a perfect base camp for you and your family or hiking companions. Hiking, snowshoeing, or cross country skiing in the scenic Blue River district is an adventure that is not easily surpassed. Breckenridge vacation rentals provide all of the comforts of home. Featuring fully appointed kitchens, private bedrooms, and a comfortable place to gather, Blue River lodging feels like your own special place. Many rentals feature hot tubs and beautiful decks that look out over scenic mountain views.

Hiking Quandary Mountain

Quandary Mountain has a summit of 14,000 feet. If you would like a nice introduction to Quandary, try the East Ridge Trail. This easy-to-follow trail will take you on a pleasant half mile hike to the timberline. After that, you have about 2 miles before you reach the summit. The trail is open when the snow is falling, but you will have to trade your hiking boots for snowshoes. Below the timberline there are some great spots to ski. Blue Ridge condo rentals make staging your hike, from meal preparation to equipment storage, easy and fun.

Mountain Biking in the Blue River Area

If you would like to add some mountain biking to your mountain hiking adventure, this is the place. A nice 11 mile ride from Breckenridge to Hoosier Pass takes you to a height of 11,000 plus feet. Your bike hike will start very close to your accommodation and will pass the trail head to Quandary Mountain. Scenic views include small lakes, flowered meadows, and beautiful views of neighboring mountains. Don't forget to pack a camera and some binoculars along with your standard kit.
