The trail is open when the snow is falling, but you will have to trade your hiking boots for snowshoes. Below the timberline there are some great spots to ski. Your bike hike will start very close to your accommodation and will pass the trail head to Quandary Mountain. Scenic views include small lakes, flowered meadows, and beautiful views of neighboring mountains. Don't forget to pack a camera and some binoculars along with your standard kit.
