  • Exceptional Home...You will be pleased.

"This exceptional home was a base for our large family as we explored Breckenridge, Vail, and the surrounding areas. We had our parents with us and were happy with the main floor layout due to mobility concerns. We also liked having a quiet side and a not so quite side of the house. The house is well stocked for cooking for a large group. We did meals together, there is even an additional folding table and 6 folding chairs to allow for the entire group to have dinner on one side of the home. The house had loads of baby equipment, gates, pack and play, high chair, etc., and is stocked with simple household items that one does not typically travel with such as dish detergent, laundry soap, paper towels, spices, etc. Both grills worked great. The hot tubs were clean and hot. The shower pressure was strong. The beds were amazing-- I'm now sold on sleep number. This house is really fantastic for a large family gathering... We had 7 siblings and our parents...some married, some with kids, all with different opinions of what a vacation home should be. We all loved this place...it offered separate spaces, both indoors and outdoors, with a great main gathering area on the main floor. This arrangement was much better and offered more space and flexibility than any other 8 bedroom home we have rented in the past. Marty was a wonderful resource and was accessible and responsive prior to and during our stay. As an FYI, we also had a blast outside of the house. We enjoyed biking Vail Pass, hiking 14ers as well as smaller hikes, white water rafting the "Numbers", horseback riding, playing in the snow and riding rides at Peak 8 fun park, mining for gold, shopping the Vail farmers market, partaking in Beerfest, and enjoying downtown Breck’s Art fest. This area in the summer was a new adventure for us, and we LOVED it! We will be back for more and hope that this home is available."

  • Last minute rental

"We needed a house at the last minute due to plumbing problems at the the house we were originally staying at. The owner was quick to respond to our last minute request. The house is located in a nice quiet area just south of Breckenridge. The house was very accomdating to our traveling party of 4 adults and 2 children. The house is very spacious and nicely furnished. It has an incredible view out of the windows all across the 2nd story. The location of the house was perfect for what we wanted to do. 20 minutes and we could be at Montgoemry Reservoir for trout fishing, 10 minutes put us at the trail head for Crystal Lake, and 15 minutes put us in the heart of Breckenridge just to name a few. Overall we were all very pleased with the accomadations of the house and I wouild definitely stay here again in the future."

  • What a great vacation

"We stayed here for my wife's 50th birthday for 4 days it was perfect, great views and a fantastic house. There was 9 of us and had plenty of room for us on more. A fox came up to the drive way and stayed for a while we fed him grapes and he was very happy. Everything that i was told and viewed on the website was true and correct. I would defiantly stay here again and give it a great referral. I spoke with the owner a couple of times and what a great guy, he was very helpful and i plan going back to big sky lodge."

  • Great for large groups

"My family & I had a small reunion here & it was amazing! There was plenty of space for everyone, the views are unbeatable, & now my sister is planning to have her wedding here! If you are looking for a true mountain experience choose this place. We had so much fun there was a horseshoe pit, a swingset & sandbox for the kids, & a hot tub! We are definitely looking forward to spending more time there when my sister gets married."

Blue River Travel Tips

Make Blue River Condo Rentals Your Mountain Home

Nestled in the mountains of Colorado, Blue River condo rentals put you at the front door of the best hiking in Breckenridge. Your Blue River lodging is a perfect base camp for you and your family or hiking companions. Hiking, snowshoeing, or cross country skiing in the scenic Blue River district is an adventure that is not easily surpassed. Breckenridge vacation rentals provide all of the comforts of home. Featuring fully appointed kitchens, private bedrooms, and a comfortable place to gather, Blue River lodging feels like your own special place. Many rentals feature hot tubs and beautiful decks that look out over scenic mountain views.

Hiking Quandary Mountain

Quandary Mountain has a summit of 14,000 feet. If you would like a nice introduction to Quandary, try the East Ridge Trail. This easy-to-follow trail will take you on a pleasant half mile hike to the timberline. After that, you have about 2 miles before you reach the summit. The trail is open when the snow is falling, but you will have to trade your hiking boots for snowshoes. Below the timberline there are some great spots to ski. Blue Ridge condo rentals make staging your hike, from meal preparation to equipment storage, easy and fun.

Mountain Biking in the Blue River Area

If you would like to add some mountain biking to your mountain hiking adventure, this is the place. A nice 11 mile ride from Breckenridge to Hoosier Pass takes you to a height of 11,000 plus feet. Your bike hike will start very close to your accommodation and will pass the trail head to Quandary Mountain. Scenic views include small lakes, flowered meadows, and beautiful views of neighboring mountains. Don't forget to pack a camera and some binoculars along with your standard kit.
