The Mountains are Calling and We Must Go...Lonestar Lodge
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We had a fabulous time in the Lonestar Lodge. This is our third year staying here and it never disappoints! We come out for our annual 14er hike and we love coming home to the Lonestar lodge after a hard day on the mountain! The hot tub and firepit are a must every evening!!! And we love cooking our meals in that fabulous kitchen!! Definitely a great place for a large group. We host 8-9 women and with plenty of space for all. The 5 bathrooms are a must for that many women!!! We will definitely be back!!"

"This stay was one of the best I have had in the mountains. Close to downtown for easy access to the slopes and restaurants. The home was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Hot Tub, sauna and fireplaces throughout were bonus! We loved it and Jason was very helpful. I highly recommend this property."

"This was an amazing house. The amenities are most excellent. I cannot stress that enough. If you are looking for a well appointed vacation home, this is the one for you!
However...it is decidedly NOT a Ski-in/Ski-out. To reach the trail head, you must take black diamond runs off Peak 10 to an out of bounds trail. This "trail" is narrow, winds precariously close to trees, and is very poorly marked. Even if an experienced skier can make it to the trail head (conditions are variable), it is still an uphill walk of at least 350-500 yds. Skiing out is equally a strenuous venture requiring skiing across narrow bridges and long catwalks. Snowboarders beware!
If you stay here, plan on picking up your party via personal vehicle daily. Even the Breckenridge free ride is still a half mile or more downhill of this house. Other than this, great house!"

"Great house and great location. We had an excellent time, we ended up spending more time than we planned at the house due to the incredible amount of snow that fell while we were there. So we were glad the house was so comfortable and well equipped.
The only problem we ran into was with the shuttle service. It structured the reservations in half hour increments, which we were not aware of. So our options were very limited because all of the morning & afternoon times were taken and they were not flexible or accommodating at all. The only availability most days was after 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and before which became very frustrating because we wanted to ski more. Most of our issues probably resulted from the lack of tip the first day. For some reason no one in our group had cash with them (which was our mistake) the first day and when we spoke to the booking service about the second day pickup we were told that we were required to tip in a very awkward exchange.
Besides the disappointing shuttle service we really enjoyed the house and the location. For future renters I recommend calling a week before arrival to book the priority shuttle times AND don't forget cash to tip the drivers."
