  • Fantastic Mountain Home!

"This property was perfect in every way for our family and the listing describes it accurately in all respects. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, large gourmet kitchen, amazing home theater, open concept living room, and expansive deck, we had everything we needed to rendezvous with 8 adults. We enjoyed the spotless chalet and all its amenities, including the hot tub, patio seating, fire pit, and gas grill. Its location in a small neighborhood outside of Breck but near Hoosier Pass was very peaceful, yet accessible for those who wished to go into town on occasion. Beautiful hiking and excellent fishing are close by and we even saw a moose near the house! Richard, the owner, is very helpful in any way needed to make your stay comfortable. He even tracked down some items I left in error and mailed them back to me. I have used VRBO and other vacation rental services often, and this is certainly a property I would recommend."

  • Family Christmas Vacation

"My family and I recently stayed here over the holidays for a ski vacation. We had 7 adults and each person had there own space and there were enough beds to accomodate all of us. There are 2 living room spaces which was great for us as we do not all have the same taste in TV shows/movies. The kitchen was perfect size for our length of stay and there was plenty of cupboard space to store all of the food we bought, as well as 2 refrigerators: one in the kitchen and one in the garage. The laundry room had a newer washer & dryer with soaps/detergents available, as well as a boot warmer for our boots when we were done skiing for the day. The location was absolutely perfect! It was a quick drive down the road to get into town or the slopes (only about a mile) and yet we were set high enough up that the views were gorgeous and we were secluded as well. We would definitely return to this property!"

  • Bob and Linda

"Nine days of relaxation with mountains, a stream nearby and the best weather ever. The condo was like home with everything we needed. The location is great -- between Breckinridge and Frisco so nights out were easy. We loved reading with the fireplace aglow. The amenities are excellent, the condo is very clean and kitchen has everything we needed. A perfect place for a vacation!"

  • Great house - great location - fantastic owner

"We stayed at the 'Bothy' with my brother and a few friends for our annual ski-reunion. Beautifully finished home with great attention to detail. Susan, the owner, is extremely responsive and easy to work with. Deposit was returned promptly as well. Great experience overall! One note of advice - we visited during a really snowy weekend (lucky!!) ... the road to the house and the driveway itself is a bit steep in places. My brother's 2WD struggled at times. Suggest to 'do it right' and rent a 4WD. Not only for this property, but any winter MTN exploration. More often than not, the roads are fantastic; however, if you luck out with a ton of fresh great snow (as we did), having a 4WD reduces risk and headaches :-)"
