  • Great location and clean condo

"I brought my 14-year-old son and his friend for the weekend. The condo was just as noted on the information, photos, and previous reviews - perfect setup for the three of us. Owners were helpful and gave us ways to easily communicate. Condo was clean and well maintained. The packet in the condo provided ample information. Location was good, right on the bus line."

  • Didn't Disappoint!

"The only reason this is a 5-star review is that 10-stars wasn't an option. We just got back from a long weekend stay at View Manor and it definitely did not disappoint. Breckenridge was the location for an old college roommate get-together and we decided to stay here. We had eleven 30 year-olds (4 couples and 3 singles) out for a weekend of skiing and catching up and View Manor was the perfect lodging choice. In fact, as each new group came into the house each of them echoed the others' sentiments..."this house is awesome!" The photos on the site are a great representation of the house but two things that are lost through the pictures are just how spacious all the bedrooms and living areas are, and also how thoughtfully the home is decorated. It shows that a great deal of time and energy were spent focusing on every detail of the décor to make it perfect. From the custom ironwork on the lamps and bar stools to the countless bear decorations, the home has a very cozy mountain feel. A few things that we were hesitant about when reading about the property, but that proved to be a non-issue were the location and the fact that it's listed as a duplex. - Location: The property is a bit up Baldy mountain which provides spectacular views but puts you a little farther away from the ski lifts than a ski-in/ski-out. We had plenty of cars for our entire group so this was no issue at all as we just took the 5-10 minute drive to the peak 9 parking lot and got first tracks each day. - Duplex: Don't let this scare you away as this is really more of a standalone home. There is only 1 shared wall and we had no issues with hearing the neighbor or being heard ourselves. View Manor would be the perfect place to stay for anyone looking for a spacious, comfortable, well-appointed home in a great location. I would recommend this property to anyone, and when we begin planning our next reunion in the mountains, I will definitely get in touch with David in hopes that View Manor is available for a repeat stay. Thanks for everything View Manor (and David) you definitely helped make our reunion trip so memorable!"

  • Perfect location for summer

"Location in Historic District - 2 nicks from Main St shops & restaurants & river. Beautiful view from rockers on front porch. By school and Carter Park- great if your kids like play grounds. If you need black out shades to sleep, there is a high window with no curtain....if you like natural light, this is a good fit."
