  • Very convenient, ski-in, ski-out condo

"We stayed at this condo with our family of 6 (4 children) for one week for spring break. It was very convenient with the ski in and ski out location! The ski lockers are great for not having to haul equipment upstairs and the parking was very convenient. Our suburban (no roof rack) fit on the 2nd floor garage. The unit was clean and comfortable. Furnishings are a bit dated and worn, but we didn't spend much time in the condo or even turn on the tv because we were so exhausted after skiiing/dinner each day! My suggestions would be more/better bed pillows and perhaps new mattresses. The pillows currently in the condo are very flat and hard and there are only 2 per bed. We had enough towels for 2 per person, but it would have been nice to have more or I would suggest bringing your own pool towels for the hot tub. The large dining table is a nice addition to the kitchen which was well stocked with basics. You will need to purchase toilet paper and paper towels on your first grocery run. We really liked the bench/hooks in the front hall for removing boots, undressing children and hanging ski clothes! The loft is perfect for kids, but if they are younger than 5 be aware that the stairs are a bit hazardous and hard to child-proof. There is also a raised edge around the fireplace area. Overall a great value and location for a family ski vacation. We enjoyed our trip and would return again! Our children especially loved the slope-side hot tubs."

  • Perfect Location, perfect for anyone who really wants to experience Breck!

"You will find no better location in Breck, period! We stayed at the home with another couple, our three kids, and one friend of our son. All the kids are teenagers. The home sits two blocks from the guts of Main Street and one and a half blocks from a nice grocery store. Parking for two cars is either right outside the door or one house down on a very busy day (and then only if you drive somewhere, which is never necessary). The free bus stop is immediately out the door (blue route to Beavers Run is the best way to start a day on the slopes). The kitchen is great and has good seating, as does the dining room. There is plenty of living space and the wifi worked very well; and even with all 8 of us showering when we came off the slopes, there was always plenty of hot water. The owner is incredibly easy to work with and is extremely responsive. Without any hesitation, he mailed something to us that we had left in the house (ever had a hotel even find something that you left in a room, much less mail it to you???). Only two cautions: you need to be willing to climb stairs and understand that one of the bathrooms is on the first floor, but neither of these is a problem. If your are in Breck, you better be capable of climbing a few stairs. We cooked most nights but walked to restaurants on a few. I highly recommend the home for any active family and during any time of the year! Great experience!"

  • Breathtaking Views!

"My large family stayed at The Lodge at Two Rivers in early July for a five-day family reunion. My sister and I live in Colorado but the majority of our large family are from the east coast. When looking for a place for our family reunion, I really wanted to find a place that would be ideal for showing off our beautiful state. I have to give myself a huge pat on the back for finding the Lodge at Two Rivers because no one in our large group (from 4 years to 65 years) wanted to leave at the end of our family reunion. The large home comfortably accommodated us with enough space to spread out and enjoy ourselves in groups but also provided little niches for one to get away on his or her own for some quiet time. The swing by the river was a perfect place for reading a good book or getting lost in your own thoughts. Family dinners were easy when using the large gourmet kitchen and enjoying meals at the huge table. Sitting by the fire pit next to the river enjoying morning coffee or Smores after dinner was absolutely divine with comfortable log rocking chairs and breathtaking views in all directions. The landscaping was flush with beautiful flowers and plants. There are 8 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and they were nicely decorated and very comfortable. The large game room was ideal for the young adults and gave them the opportunity to get away from the older folks and have some fun playing pool or watching movies on the large screen TV. Ping pong games were going on all the time in the garage and some of the fishermen proudly showed off their catches before releasing them back into the river. If you are looking for a small piece of heaven in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado that is snuggled on 15 beautiful acres and you enjoy falling asleep to the sounds of rushing water from the river just outside your window, then The Lodge at Two Rivers is the place for you!"

  • Excellent home, great location, awesome views

"We stayed in this home for a few days in Mid-September and found it to be very nice. It was large, clean, and very well set up. You'll have everything you need in the kitchen and the bedrooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable. This is a top of the line home in a great quiet location with awesome views, yet it is conveniently located near all of the main points of interest in Breckenridge. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a scenic, quiet, and comfortable place to stay in Breckenridge."
