  • Great family reunion

"Had a great vacation at big horn lodge with our entire extended family. Older kids had plenty of places to go out and about in town, with the shuttle stop close by. Moms and dads spent every evening on the large deck on top of the house. The hot tub has a great view. We had enough room to seat the whole family at the dining room table where we played cards and talked past dinner after the little ones were tucked in while the older kids enjoyed the big flat screen TV in the living room a little too long (we had to tear them away). TV's in every bedroom kept them occupied. The kitchen is simple, but has two huge side by side fridge and freezer, two ovens, two coffee makers, two toasters, two dishwashers and plenty of pots and pans for a big group. The two Crock Pots were great for making our famous shredded pork bbq sandwiches. Everything was clean and nicely cared for. Carole and Amy are a pleasure to work with. We enjoyed our stay very much and will return."

  • Couldn't have been better! A gorgeous home but an even better location!

"A group of 8 of our best friends rented this home for a long weekend and it was just amazing. A couple of the people in our group had never been to Colorado before and the thorough manual pointed them to some of the best views they had ever seen in their lives! The location of the home was ideal for what we were looking for. Secluded but not too far from Breck or other sites in Summit County. The home itself was very well stocked with everything we needed, the bedrooms were comfortable and provided a great amount of space for everyone in our party. The hot tub and the fire pit were huge hits and everyone enjoyed the beautiful mornings on the deck. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to book this home again (and we likely will)!"

  • Great stay

"The house was clean, roomy and comfortable for my family of seven with college kids down to a one year old. The gates for the stairs were helpful. Good selection of toys for the baby, but not much available for the older kids and adults. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware, but was missing condiments I expected to be there such as mustard, ketchup, mayo. It was our first stay in a VRBO house, so maybe refrigerator items are not typically stocked. There were some pantry items. We had problems with the internet the first day, but after a few calls back and forth Kelli had it working for us. Overall, the house was great and my kids want to stay there again."
