  • Couldn't have been better! A gorgeous home but an even better location!

"A group of 8 of our best friends rented this home for a long weekend and it was just amazing. A couple of the people in our group had never been to Colorado before and the thorough manual pointed them to some of the best views they had ever seen in their lives! The location of the home was ideal for what we were looking for. Secluded but not too far from Breck or other sites in Summit County. The home itself was very well stocked with everything we needed, the bedrooms were comfortable and provided a great amount of space for everyone in our party. The hot tub and the fire pit were huge hits and everyone enjoyed the beautiful mornings on the deck. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to book this home again (and we likely will)!"

  • Wonderful family ski vacation in Historic Breckenridge

"Our 2 adult daughters and their husbands, and the grand daughter, recently spent a fabulous week of skiing, sledding, and hot tubbing in SnowLover Lodge. The house itself is awesome with a large general family room/dining/kitchen upstairs with all the TV/internet amenities. The bedrooms were perfect: a double with bunkbeds for the family with kids, and 2 other bedrooms for the other 2 married units. The hot tub was right out the back door so we didn't have to walk far in the snow! Good planning. Connie was very responsive to a minor repair, and immediately had someone over to deal with it. Breck itself is a great young family location with day care for the 2 year old at the base of the slopes, and lots of kid things to do. Staying in Connie's house in the middle of the historic district meant that we were 1 1/2 blocks from the ski bus, and walking distance to shops, Main Street, and great restaurants. All good with a toddler whose schedule we worked around. We would all like to return to the house for a summer getaway as well! We will definitely return to this property."

  • Great family vacation home for skiers with kids!!!

"My family and friends stayed here over President's weekend. There were 15 people in our group including 7 kids: ages 13, 12, 12,9,9,8,and 5. There was more than enough room for all of us and it was nice that the kids had a "wing" of the house to themselves to hang out and play. The radiant heating in the floors was also a perk and we never even felt cold when it was -4 degrees outside! We didn't rent a 4 wheel drive but wish that we had because the driveway is a little steep and slippery when covered with snow. It would have been no big deal with a different vehicle. ---The hot tub was so perfect and it felt great to just relax after a day of skiing. It was perfectly located right out the patio doors of the great room. In the entryway downstairs, there was an area to hang all of your coats and a place for you to dry your ski boots and gloves. The great room was huge and was a great place for all of us to just spend time talking about the events of the day. The home really had so many neat and carefully thought through amenities. We were really impressed and it was perfect for our family and friends. The kids and adults had a blast. ----Now on to what we learned about the mountain. We had never skied Winter Park before and here are some tips if bringing kids. The property is ski in/out. You have to walk a short distance (20 yards maybe) to ski down to the cat walk to winter park. To ski in you have to ski down the mary jane trail and you are able to ski right to the garage door if there is snow coverage on the road. Everyday we strapped our boot and skis on and headed down to WP to ski that side and only went to the Mary Jane side when wanting to go back to the house. The green runs at Winter Park are pretty flat and our kids had a hard time with them. We had to let them ski with poles for the first time because the adults got tired of waiting on them and "slinging" them with our poles. On the last day we skied, we decided to hike from the house to the Mary Jane base and just ski on that side instead of starting on the WP side. Even though that was quite a hike for a bunch of Texas folks in high altitude, it was a much better day of skiing for all of us. The kids were much less frustrated. All of our kids were intermediate skiers. -----Overall, I would highly recommend this home. It was a wonderful experience and the owner is very hands-on. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and letting us make wonderful memories."
