"We live in Colorado Springs, and I've been renting houses in Summit county every year since 1992 for ski trips with my kids, who are now mostly grown up. So, we've stayed in many different places. Usually we stay in town, because I like to be able to walk to dinner, etc. I was a little hesitant to stay in the Boots' cabin as it was a four mile drive to town, but in fact, I liked it very well, and will try to come back again if we can. Actually, the drive is quite short, and it was easy to park up on French, Ridge, or Harris streets to head over to Main Street, and the cabin is so much more spacious and nice than anything we could have found in Breck (at least on our budget). Skiing access is also easy. Simply park over by the Gondola, walk 50 to 100 yards, depending on how early you arrive in the morning, and hop on the Gondola. Convenient, easy. Much better in fact than waiting to catch a town bus from an in town house or condo. The beds are wonderful, the hot tub is great, the kitchen is very well equipped, really, outstanding. We had two of our three kids with us, and there would have easily been room for two more people (four nice bunk beds...nice bunk beds, suitable for adult size people as my kids are at this point) in the bedrooms, and there is a nice sofa bed in the living room, if you really wanted to sleep as many as possible. Finally, Sandra is very easy to work with, very prompt, business-like, friendly. In short, highly recommended. I've been tempted to buy a place up in Breck over the years, but have not felt energetic enough to deal with all of the responsibilities of second home ownership. If I did, though, I'd look for a place in Blue River laid out pretty much like the Boots cabin."
