  • Perfect Vail Ski Condo. Absolutely Perfect!

"This was the perfect choice for our ski trip to Vail. There are 3 full bedrooms upstair plus a sleeping loft, so there's lots of room for a group or family. The bathrooms are nicly finished and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The condo was perfectly cleaned when we arrived and stocked with linens and paper goods for our stay. The living room on the main level (and the back upper bedroom) has a fantastic view of Gore Creek only 30 feet outside the big glass door. Probaby the biggest selling point for this condo is that there is a Vail bus stop right at the driveway entrance! On that bus to the Vail Cascade Lift is only about 5 minutes, and only another 5 minutes to Lions Head Village. The front door is locked with an electronic combination so no one needs to carry keys. That makes for an easy day for people to ski, shop, eat, or whatever else on their own schedules. Everyone can come and go independently and have access to the unit. The owners are nice, professional, and super-easy to work with. I have no hesitation in recommending this rental, I will certainly put this as number-1 on my list when I visit Vail again. March 2015"

  • Great Location for Ski In/Out

"We loved the condo here at Four O'Clock Lodge. The location is perfect - about a 5-10 minute walk to Main Street shopping, a 3 minute drive to City Market, only 150 yards from the Snowflake chair lift to get on the mountain, and literally steps off of Four O'Clock run that deposits you at the condo for lunch or at the end of the day. We rented our skis from Christy's, which is about 200 yards down the road towards town. Definitely 5 stars for location and convenience. Mike was great to deal with. He's incredibly responsive before, during, and after the stay. The rental process and contract are simple. And he was very, very helpful during our stay. The location and dealing with Mike as the owner are the main reasons for the 5 stars. The condo itself if solid. The living room and kitchen are great (my wife suggested upgrading to sharper knives and getting rid of the glass cutting board since it dulls them), and the condo is stocked with everything we needed including butter, oil, spices, etc. We cooked most of our meals and came back to the condo during our days of skiing for lunch since it was so convenient. Mike's selection of DVD's was perfect, and there are plenty of channels to watch while sitting by the very warm fireplace. The bathrooms are clean but are a bit dated, but the property is a rental so we expected it. The condo is on the third floor and there is no elevator. We were totally gassed just from walking up the stairs, and my wife and I suffered altitude sickness for the first few days. We'd recommend renting a portable oxygen tank for the first day or so to help your body acclimate quicker if you visit from lower elevations. Drink plenty of water, sports drinks, and take vitamins as well. We'd highly recommend spending a few hours sledding at Carter Park (the condo has 4-5 sleds to use) and visiting the museums and welcome center in town. Breck is full of history. We only have a few recommendations for improvement: 1) knives (previously mentioned). 2) have the dishwasher looked at (it does not seem to be opening during the wash cycle to dispense soap). 3) add overhead lighting (maybe track lighting) over the main living area in the living room and eating area. The condo gets fairly dark at night, and we could not get the ceiling fan or light to turn on. Thanks for a great stay Mike. We loved it."

  • Breckenridge Vacation

"My family and I recently took a vacation to ski @ Breckenridge. We had tried condos in the past but since we are a family of 6 with two teenage boys, we needed more space. The Moonstone House worked great for us. The upstairs has two nice bedrooms, while the finished basement is huge - perfect for teenage boys. We liked that the first floor was quite (no TV) - it meant we actually 'talked' after a long day of skiing. We look forward to returning to Moonstone!"

Craig Travel Tips

Craig Vacation Rentals Place You Among a Variety of Attractions

Found at the crossroads of U.S. Highway 40 and Colorado Highway 13, Craig is the mid-point for Denver and Salt Lake City travelers and is the economic center of Northwest Colorado. Rich in recreational opportunities, natural resources, and Old West lore, Craig is home to numerous annual festivals such as the Ducks Unlimited Banquet, Art Walk and Taste of Chocolate, and Special Olympics Western Area Games. Craig's vacation rentals make Craig a great place to visit year round.

Craig Lodgings Provide Comfort in Nature

Many of Craig's greatest offerings are natural. The high-desert landscape attracts hikers, bikers, kayakers, rafters, and tubers. Craig is also a great spot for motocross, and Craig boasts the only wave pool complex on the Western Slope, as well as a beautiful and challenging 18-hole public golf course with scenic views of the Yampa River. Most notably, Craig is known as a hub for big game hunting and for its abundance of cowboy, Native American, gunfighter and outlaw history. After a day exploring nature, hunting, or visiting historical sites, Craig vacation rentals provide a welcome temporary home. Other attractions for vacationers to explore include Craig's petroglyphs and Dinosaur National Monument.

Craig Lodging Makes Renting the Best Option for Your Colorado Vacation

Craig is home to resident elk, deer, antelope, mountain lions, sandhill cranes, eagles, and one of the last free-roaming herds of wild mustangs. With so much expansive nature surrounding you, why stay in a cramped hotel room? Clark vacation rentals allow visitors to relax in style with ample room to unpack, spread out, and even occasionally eat-in meals prepared with food from the local farmer's market. With Craig vacation rentals, your only worry will be finding enough time to enjoy all the beauty, history, and adventure of Colorado.
