Recent Dillon reviews

  • Great location, great views, great stay.

"Previous reviews are very accurate. My wife and I stayed 3 nights in the fall for hiking and fall colors. I'll add the following. While we stayed in the fall, the steel steps leading up to the unit will be great and safe to navigate in the snow should you stay there in the winter. The unit was very comfortable. The balcony was outstanding. And it's a very short walk to the A-Café for great food! If we're in Dillon my wife insets on the A-Café. The counter space in the bath is a bit tight but this would only be a small bother if you had 4 people staying there. Lisa was a big help in pointing me toward a FedEx office nearby when I needed to print, sign, scan, and send some work documents as well as finding a place for tire repair!. I would definitively stay here again."

  • Great View and Relaxing time

"This condo is really the perfect getaway from a busy lifestyle . I came out needing a break from my hectic job and between the Million dollar view and the wood burning fireplace I was able to quickly get into a nice vacation mode within a day or 2 . The owners are tremendously responsive as I ran out of firewood on Wed and he immediately arranged to have a cord delivered the next day . The bed was really comfortable and I could not have been more pleased with the unit and the place . It was a tremendous experience and I will return again ."

  • Awesome Mountain Retreat

"Absolutely delightful. Barbara and Ken were awesome to work with. I feel like I have made some new friends. The condo was very clean and well-maintained and looked exactly as pictured. The windows in the living and dining areas allowed great views of the mountains. My visit was in the summer, so I loved being able to enjoy my breakfast on the balcony each morning. What a treat for me. The kitchen was wonderful. Everything you need to prepare your meals is readily available. Silverware, dinnerware and glassware were very nice. All the appliances (microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and stove - and most importantly - the coffee maker) worked well and I especially loved the deep sink with the single handle pull-down sprayer. The washer and dryer were a plus for me. Everything is modern and up-to-date. 2 full bedrooms and 2 full baths were extremely nice. The bed I slept in was very comfortable and the furnishings were very tastefully done. There was also ample closet space for your belongings. I always had plenty of hot water for showering which was wonderful. The television was great, but that is not a priority for me since I'd rather be outdoors enjoying the cool, crisp mountain air or reading a book on the balcony. I did enjoy watching the Broncos pre-season games, however! The clubhouse is just across from the condo and the hot tub was so relaxing after a day's hiking. Since my stay was for 2 weeks, it was nice having the post office in close proximity. City Market is near the condo and offers a wide variety of options for groceries - deli and bakery. There are several restaurants in walking distance if you choose to eat out. There are trails near the condo that you can either hike or bike. Additionally, you are close to Keystone/Silverthorne/Frisco and Breckenridge for other hiking or biking options. I had an excellent stay and was very pleased with my entire experience - a wonderful "home away from home" - mountain retreat. I will certainly recommend this condo to my friends and family and would not hesitate to return there myself."
