  • Nicest, cleanest, most affordable home we have rented

"Amazing. The home has been remodeled with the finest craftsmanship and eye for detail. Nice snow room for boots and skiis. The master bedroom had a very comfortable mattress. The two basement bedrooms were adequate for kids. The snow covered exterior was unassuming. However, the hardwood floors, granite tops and stainless kitchen was awesome. The entire main floor had heated floors. Perfect considering altitude and allergies. Clean. Deep garage fit my oversized truck and washer and dryer was the icing on the cake. The town of Dillon is located just west of the Eisenhour Tunnel on I-70. It is 10 min from Loveland and Keystone. Dillon and Silverthorne which appear to be separated by I-70 provide ample local dinning flare, plenty of great shopping and your standard chains stores/resturaunts. We would highly recommend this house. (that's not a pot reference, Pot Head. Although there is a dispensary in town). This home is perfect for a family that wants to be centrally located and has a ski pass for the multiple resorts in Summit County. There is a Summit Stage stop a short walk away. Oh, we came out one evening to the driveway being shoveled, at no cost to us. Nice touch Jay!"

  • Best reunion yet!

"We had 28 family members spend a week here. The location (so much to do in Dillon and towns nearby, the lake and the mountains), the lodge itself (fully supplied, roomy and clean), and the wonderful view was perfect for the size of our group and the varied interests and ages. The little ones had a blast playing and exploring, the teens and 20s had plenty of things to keep them busy and terrific places to hang out until all hours of the next morning without disturbing others, adults spent hours reminiscing and relaxing each night as well. We never felt cramped and the kitchen and its supplies was terrific. The owners were super helpful and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend it to others that have a large group wanting to experience Colorado and share time together without feeling like they are crowded under one roof. It was an amazing find!"

  • Great home base for family ski vacation!

"We stayed for one week over New Year's 2014, and our family vacation could not have been better. The home is beautiful, very clean, organized, lots of fluffy towels and nice linens, well-stocked kitchen with every gadget and appliance, comfy furniture and warm, heated floors. There are so many windows, with beautiful views outside every one. We traveled with our three sons - ages 17, 15 and 10 - with a total of 5 people, and there was more than enough room for everyone. The fireplace was especially nice - toasty warm after a long day of skiing. We had great meals at the house, as well as many meals out in nearby Dillon, Frisco, and Keystone. We skied 5 days and went to Vail, Keystone and A-Basin - all within an easy drive. The home is in a neighborhood setting which had great snow removal - a plus because we got a lot of snow. (We rented a car, and Hertz had overbooked their SUVs. We ended up with not-great-snow cars, and had we stayed in a more remote house, we'd have gotten stuck for sure.) It was also so nice to park inside a large garage, with the laundry room right off the garage for washing wet ski clothes. There is quite a bit of privacy with the way the home is situated on the lot, and a terrific sledding hill just out the back door. We would absolutely stay in this home again! The owner was so easy to work with, and the home lived up to its photos and reviews. There was also a stunning wild fox who'd troll the back patio in the snow looking for a hand-out each morning. Thanks for a great family vacation!"
