  • The only place to stay in Glenwood!

"This year marked our third stay to The Alpen Den, and it did not disappoint! We come to Glenwood annually for our three-generations "girl's weekend," and we couldn't be happier with the amenities offered at Matt and Michelle's lovely hideaway. The apartment is appointed with absolutely everything we need, plus so much that we didn't know we needed! We come to float and swim at the Hot Springs, and absolutely love being able to come home to a house where we can not only relax, but recreate as well. Had a fantastic time playing croquet and badminton, exploring the creek, and just relaxing in the house. It just feels like vacation when we are here. Thank you!"

  • Great time at the Bear's Den

"We stayed at the Bear's Den for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The place is beautiful, spacious and well-stocked (from condiments to games and books and a huge binder with activity-suggestions) and the hosts are really nice."

  • Beautiful Home for family and friends vacation

"The house is beautifully decorated. The kitchen looks as nice as the photos lead one to believe. The layout wastes no space. The dining table comfortably seats 8, the LR seats 6 to 7. The rooms are good sizes. We had my wife and I, my college-age son and his girlfriend, and my teenage daughter and her friend and we never felt like we were right on top of each other. My wife and I loved the heated floor in the MBR. The garage is heated which is a nice touch in winter. The location is about 5 minutes from downtown Glenwood and 30 minutes from Sun Light Mountain. We would highly recommend to friends."

  • So much fun

"Thank you Mary and Terry for a great labor day weekend. Your school house is great. We loved the great big room with kitchen. It was great for kids. Our grandson loved getting the chicken eggs and he loved your "rent a dog" that slept with us one night. We listened to bugling elk and watched flocks of geese fly on and off the pond. We hiked and made "smores" outside on the grill. Thank you so much. We had a wonderful time."
