"Our group was two 50+ adults and 4 kids (18-20 years old). I've used VRBO for the last ten years and have to say that this was the best equipped house yet! My husband, who was once a professional chef, loved the kitchen that even had good knives. The beds were comfortable and there were so many things provided from TP to shampoo. We travelled by AMTRAK from CA and Jason even took us to the grocery store on our first night there. The kids loved the hot tub and my husband and I really appreciated the bicycles. We played Pictionary and other games in the evening. Aside from one movie, we never watched TV. The house is up on a hill but within blocks of downtown. We actually enjoyed getting the exercise. We rented a car only one day to get to Hanging Lake and to get the two girls to horse-backriding. Everything else was easily walkable..the train station, Hot Springs, great restaurants, massages (Providence), the market, the mini-golf, the rafting and kayaking outings at Glenwood Adventures and of course hiking and bicycling. Our two kids and their friends were not interested in the amusement park for some reason--they liked relaxing at home as much-- so we didn't make it up there. Jason was a very helpful and gracious host. I hope we can come back again in the wintertime."Guest: Debbie and Doug Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 28, 2014View listing
"We stayed at the Bear's Den for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The place is beautiful, spacious and well-stocked (from condiments to games and books and a huge binder with activity-suggestions) and the hosts are really nice."Guest: Mariska Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 9, 2014View listing
"Our family is so spread out that we even had trouble finding a single week of the year to get together and it needed to be in central Colorado. Siouxzy was a very helpful lessor and made our stay even more fun. Go there."Guest: Jim A. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 20, 2014View listing
"This is a wonderful secluded countryside home with nice views of the Roaring Fork Valley. The house easily accommodates 8 people in their own double bedroom with bath. The fully equipped kitchen and gas grill on the deck allowed us to prepare all our dinners at the house and enjoy the large dinning room and views in the evening. Cindy and Clay were very nice and we would definitely come back here again."Guest: Kent Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 11, 2014View listing
