  • Gorgeous

"House was absolutely amazing and there were no problems at all. Couldn't have asked for a better trip. Michael, the owner, was very timely in responding to my questions and very helpful."

  • Great mountainy feel!

"Great space - especially for any family with more than 2 kids. All 4 of our kids slept in their own beds - no sharing - which is so much better than getting 2 hotel rooms or sharing sleeper sofas in suites. Property was nice - exercise room, pool, & spa - and it was great to be able to get towels for the pool from the front desk. The look & feel of the rental space was comfy log cabin. Also loved having the family games around."

  • Nice place, loud neighbors, evidently a party spot

"This condo is basically a hotel with privately owned rooms. This room was enjoyable and had basic amenities. It had a nice hot shower with good pressure. The bed was soft and not the best for bad backs, but the pillows were excellent. I did throw away the provided toiletries without use as they didn't look 100% fresh. It was very nice we could bring our dog. For the price, the stay was excellent. Unfortunately the room is on the bottom floor, and our neighbors both nights were exceptionally loud. (2 different parties). We had to call the reception desk for the rowdy teenagers yelling. There was also a drunk person out when I was walking my dog at 8 a.m. This doesn't reflect on the quality of the room, except it does have very thin walls and being on the bottom floor, every step above us was heard. We had direct access to a nice green belt, so getting the dog to potty was easy. We had about 25 minute drive to RMNP, and 20 minutes to Grand Lake. For the price, the drive was worth it. If it wasn't for the ruckus above us, I would give it 5 stars for value. I would only stay there again if I could guarantee no noise above us."

  • We loved this spacious, clean Ski-in/ski-out Family Friendly Condo

"With friends, family, and now my 7 year old daughter I have enjoyed skiing and snowboarding for decades. But after countless vacations across the rockies, Canada and Europe (Chamonix to Brasov), I never appreciated how convenient a true ski-in/ski-out property can be. This Granby unit/building was designed to be easy access from the slopes, yet it was up the mountain and away from the main lodge - so it was quiet and private. As an end unit, the living room featured wrap around views of the slopes, main lodge, and ski school area (great instructors for the kids)! Same with the master bedroom's full hot tub... a great view as well. No, this is not a garden tub you fill up yourself and "enjoy" some weak jets, this is an actual hot tub with real pressure to loosen the muscles after a day on the slopes. Between the humidified air from the tub, gas fireplace, and built in radiant heat (in the walls!) it was cozy and warm even well below freezing. Although the lodge bar and restaurant were busy with a great menu, we didn't bother with waiting as our full kitchen was stocked with our favorites. Anything we were missing we could find at the nearby City Market, a full supermarket (Kroger-owned?) not just a corner store. Again the convenience of coming right off the slopes into your own kitchen cannot be understated! It saved so much time and money compared to fighting the crowds in the lodge and loading up the cars at least twice daily. Further, the lift ticket pricing compared to neighboring resorts (Granby is located between Winter Park and Steamboat Springs) makes it a true bargain. My 7 year old daughter also enjoyed access to the heated swimming pool in the main resort facility near the entrace. Snowman building materials were free, also a highlight for the youngsters. I would highly recommend this particular unit for the reasons above, and the fact that the owners clearly love this as a home with personal touches throughout. It was well maintained, clean, and spacious given the smart layout. Roomy bathrooms/kitchen, and the photos from the listing don't do justice to the wrap around view from the sunken living room. Kids will love the modern flat screen TV - but it won't be hard to pull them away from it when the snow starts falling or the summer breeze calls them for a bike ride or hike in nearby Rocky Mountain National Park. We are coming back for more spring skiing and hope this one is available next time!"
