"We love the area and have spent many Spring Breaks here with good friends. This year there were just three of us (mom, dad and college son). The condo was very nice and had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. We were close to skiing, ski rental (on property), grocery store and had easy access to Hwy 40. We all slept upstairs to avoid pulling out the couch. The beds were comfortable and there are plenty of pillows. We cooked all but one night during our stay. We always go to Hernando's Pizza Pub on a trip to Granby. Loved the inventory list in the kitchen. It helped us to know if what we needed was in the condo. The owners were easy to work with and very prompt in returning deposit. We would recommend this property to our friends and family. Everything is as advertised on the VRBO website.++++"Guest: Patti G. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 23, 2014View listing
"We enjoyed kayaking on Shadow Mtn Lake, hiking Monarch Lake, lunch and dinner in Grand Lake. Ran out of time to see Winter Park again. Lots to do in all directions."Guest: Greg n Barb Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 16, 2014View listing
"This condo is basically a hotel with privately owned rooms. This room was enjoyable and had basic amenities. It had a nice hot shower with good pressure. The bed was soft and not the best for bad backs, but the pillows were excellent. I did throw away the provided toiletries without use as they didn't look 100% fresh. It was very nice we could bring our dog. For the price, the stay was excellent. Unfortunately the room is on the bottom floor, and our neighbors both nights were exceptionally loud. (2 different parties). We had to call the reception desk for the rowdy teenagers yelling. There was also a drunk person out when I was walking my dog at 8 a.m. This doesn't reflect on the quality of the room, except it does have very thin walls and being on the bottom floor, every step above us was heard. We had direct access to a nice green belt, so getting the dog to potty was easy. We had about 25 minute drive to RMNP, and 20 minutes to Grand Lake. For the price, the drive was worth it. If it wasn't for the ruckus above us, I would give it 5 stars for value. I would only stay there again if I could guarantee no noise above us."Guest: Enjoying the View Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 26, 2014View listing
"Had a great time at Wunderview. The house is very nice and comes fully equipped for everything you'll need. It is truly a home away from home. Full BBQ grill, fully equipped kitchen, canoes, bikes, etc. The porch was one of the key items for us; it was a good place sit and sip coffee on the cool mornings and just as good to sit and sip a glass of wine in the evenings. Our kids enjoyed feeding the chipmunks and ground squirrels right from the porch, so bring plenty of peanuts. Owner was extremely helpful before and during our stay and gave good advice on things to do, and the area has plenty to do for everyone. We took 2 trips up into Rocky Mountain National Park and saw so many deer, elk, and moose we lost count. Plenty of good hiking trails too. If you want to rent a boat for pleasure stick with Grand Lake. If you prefer fishing Lake Granby is the better choice. We spent one day down in Winter Park and had a great time with all their summer activities. Thanks for a great summer vacation."Guest: Dallas Family Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 14, 2014View listing
