  • Most Unbelievable Views!!! We Can't Wait to Visit Again!!!

"I don't even know where to begin with this review. There are so many wonderful things I can say about this home and the sweet little town of Grand Lake! First of all...we were blown away to walk in the door and see the amazing views of Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain Lake which were both still frozen. The snow covered mountains that sat behind them were absolutely beautiful! Most of our time there was spent on one of the huge decks that face the lakes...truly a view that would never get old! The home itself was spacious, clean, well equipped with everything you need and so warm and inviting. And...the state of the art sound system was definitely a bonus. While there, we were visited almost daily by the neighborhood moose and a herd of elk. We also had a visit from a chipmunk and a fox. We went snowmobiling one day (a ton of fun!), hiked to Adams Falls (definitely worth the hike) and checked out many of the small shops and restaurants. The Sage Brush Grill and Fat Cat Café had fabulous food and all of the locals we met were kind and helpful. This trip was only my husband and I along with my parents. None of us have one negative thing to say about our experience and we can not wait to visit again! Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of Heaven! This will definitely be the home we rent next time we visit and hopefully it will be soon!"

  • Very nice townhome.

"More than we expected for the price. I really enjoyed having a garage and not having to warm up the car in the cold morning air scraping ice off of the windshield (a pet peeve of mine). The kitchen was great, well maintained and clean. The thermostat was set a bit high for our comfort level when we arrived. It took awhile to figure out how to lower the temperature. Spare towels would have been nice, we ended up having to use all the towels in both bathrooms during our stay. It was just two of us but we both take two to three showers a day and my fiancé uses two towels for each shower. The only thing missing was Internet access...using your phone plan just doesn't cut it, especially if you want to stream movies. All in all, I would definitely recommend this townhome for your next stay at Grand Lake. A hotel just can't come close to the comfort and convenience level this townhome offers."

  • Family Holiday Getaway

"AMAZING!! This property was perfect for our family holiday getaway. From the moment we walked in the door we felt right at home. There was plenty of room for 3 families - including 5 children. The living area was warm and inviting even though there were several feet of snow and sub-zero temperatures outside. The fireplace was inviting and plenty of wood was provided to keep it blazing for warmth and drying boots. The loft was a great place for the kids to play games while the adults played games in the living area. The kitchen was well equipped and large enough for several of us to work in at the same time. There was even plenty of pantry space for each family to keep their food and snacks. Each family had plenty of room for sleeping and bathing. Lana was great to work with and responded to questions and concerns in a timely manner. Everything was as she described - if not even better! She explained about the stairs that needed to be navigated to reach the main living area. And although I have bad knees, the stairs were very manageable. Since there was a bedroom and bath on the main level, the stairs only had to be used if we left the cabin. And we did not leave very often because we were so comfortable staying there! The kids loved playing in the snow on the deck and sledding down the driveway. We were only 10 minutes away from our snowmobile rental location. We enjoyed a glorious ride - including seeing moose! Knowing that we had this lovely cabin to return to was a huge plus. The cabin was only 5 minutes from downtown Grand Lake where there were several good places to eat or take out food. We even took a 30 minute drive to Fraser to enjoy snow tubing. Rocky Mt National Park was only minutes away and we enjoyed a beautiful winter drive in the part of the park that was open. We HIGHLY recommend this property. It is well taken care of and extremely comfortable. Just like those infamous words say, "We'll be back!" We are already talking about a summer get together. Thank you so much Lana for allowing our family to enjoy your beautiful home!"

  • Grand Lake Adventure

"This home is a magnificent getaway dwelling, nestled just beneath a short hilltop rise from Shadow Mountain Lake. It is a wonderful venue, for a family vacation, complete with all the luxuries one could hope to find in a 5-Star hotel. The area provides you the opportunity to reap secluded R&R, as well as the option of a short 10-minute drive into the historic village of Grand Lake, should you elect to browse shops or dine in town. The accomodations supported our large family gathering of 13, with total comfort and the upstairs patio deck is enormous, backed up against the hillside! Seize the moment to savor this beautiful home in a great mountain setting."
