  • Incredible!!!

"What an amazing place this is!!! It has absolutely everything...we found there to be such thoughtful attention to detail in every way. The setting of the property is gorgeous as it sits up on the hill overlooking the most fantastic views of the lake. We must have timed it right because the hillside was in full bloom with stunning purple and yellow flowers and the water level was great which allowed us easy access to and from the boat. The deck overlooking the lake has plenty of seating which we enjoyed from sun up to sun down and the fire pit was such a lovely way to end each evening. The owners have a canoe available for guest use which was an unexpected highlight for every member of our family. The main cabin is as cozy as can be and well equipped...truly home away from home. (Fresh water in the refrigerator, cozy blankets, clean sheets/towels, WiFi, large family dining table, fabulous seating, washer/dryer...list goes on and on.) Then there is the "barn"...amazing setting yet again! Ping pong, dart board, music, t.v., more insane views of the lake, comfortable sleeping quarters...our kids LOVED this space!!! Will stay here again and again given the opportunity!!! The only downside was having to leave our furry friend at home. :)"

  • November 7-10

"We had a wonderful time staying at this property. All the necessities were provided, with plenty of extra. The property was perfect for our weekend get-away.. The setting was perfect: river and mountains! The night sky, sunrises and sunsets were spectacular! While we had hoped to see a moose (no luck!), we saw a bald eagle AND a mountain lion! Easy access to the property and closeness to the town of Grand Lake and the Rocky Mountain National Park make this a place we would love to come back to!"

  • great house but...

"the house was great and we had a great vacation. Unfortunately I have attempted to contact the owner several times via email, phone and even through customer support in regards to a refund of our security deposit and have not heard back from the owner nor have we received a refund. As far as I know, there is no reason for withholding our deposit. For this reason, I cannot recommend this property as a vacation rental."

  • Wonderful Place - Wonderful Stay

"I'd actually give this four and a half stars, because no place is perfect - but this one came as close as anyone could ask for. It's location was ideal being close to both the town and RMNP. The view would get more than five stars - absolutely gorgeous. The unit was comfortable and peaceful, with all the creature comforts of home. We enjoyed our time inside as much as we did outside. Our main reason for our trip to Grand Lake was to go up into the park to watch the elk and hear them bugle. We weren't disappointed. We also saw three moose together the first night in the park. We also hiked up to Adams Falls and spent time in town. It was a wonderful stay and I hope to stay here again."
