"We have stayed at the springs 3 times now and it is the only place we will stay at keystone. Amenities are great. This unit is significantly larger than the other singles we have stayed in, and the extra bed and room was nice. All beds including the fold out couch were in like new condition, and nice foam beds. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and Tupperware"Guest: Bill Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 30, 2014View listing
"This condo had the best sleeping arrangement for our family. The kitchen is well supplied, the furniture is comfortable, plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 children. Being right by the Pool building was a plus as well. Our first visit to Keystone, not our last!"Guest: GrandAnn66 Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 7, 2014View listing
"We live in Denver and have rented several places in Summit County for skiing. We're buying a place this month in Keystone, so I doubt we'll be back; however, this was by far the best rental we have ever had. The private hot tub and sauna, wood burning fireplace, mountain views and the spacious layout make this one the best. Stan, the owner, was very accessible as we had some issues with the payment. The skyRun property management was the best I have seen. They gave us discount coupons for several restaurants in keystone which was of great value. The location is very convenient. If we weren't toting two toddlers to ski school and play school, we wouldn't have driven to the free river run lot. The kitchen was large and very well stocked with coffee and pans and utensils. The in unit washer dryer had detergent. Very handy! Only pitfall, no bath tub to bathe the kiddos. Our son has a phobia of showers, so we had to sponge him down. All in all a great condo! Thank you!"Guest: JFeldman Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 3, 2014View listing
Keystone Travel Tips
Keystone, Colorado, is the home of the Keystone Resort that was originally constructed in the 1970s. There are three mountains in Keystone: Decum, North Peak and The Outback mountains, and the resort was built and planned to accommodate skiers and summer visitors.
Visiting Keystone in the summer means you'll have access to many outdoor activities such as Adventure Point Tubing. Here visitors will get to ride down Keystone Mountain on tubes for kid-friendly and group adventures. Adventure Point Tubing is also a great spot to check out when you visit during the winter. More interested in the landscape on the way up the mountain? Scenic lift rides will take you up Colorado's Rocky Mountains to an elevation of approximately 11,640 feet. All you have to do it sit back and enjoy the ride as well as the breathtaking views.
There is a total of 36 holes at the Keystone Ranch Golf Course and The River Course at Keystone - so you have plenty of opportunities to work on your swing. The Ranch Golf Course is a classic mountain course full of lodgepole pines, sage meadows and a nine-acre lake. There are locker rooms and a fully-stocked golf shop in the clubhouse and a practice facility where you can warm up before you hit the green. The Sandwedge Shoppe at Keystone Ranch serves breakfast to-go, lunch and drinks. The River Course features elevation changes, bunkers, water hazards and a 194-foot elevation drop on hole 16. Take in views of Lake Dillon and snow-capped peaks. The River Course Grill serves breakfast and lunch as well as happy hour, while the golf shop sells apparel, accessories and equipment.
Mountain biking is a favorite summer past time in Keystone. Visitors can take a lift service to the top of the mountain before riding downhill through miles of trails and pathways. There are mountain biking clinics for those who want to try out the sport or take up a new hobby during their stay. In addition to biking clinics, you can rent a bike or boat if you want to head out for a cycling adventure, go on a paddle boat or take a canoeing excursion.
Head to Keystone Lake during the winter for ice skating and hockey. The five-acre lake is home to the largest Zamboni-maintained outdoor skating rink in North America and festively decorated during the holidays, complete with music. Ice skating is also an option at Dercum Square, as the area boasts a 7,200-square-foot ice rink in River Run. There's day and night skating and free ice time available for guests.
