  • Wonderful Experience!

"Tom, I want to thank you for the rental of your condo. We found it very clean and inviting. Loved the mountain view, but most of all our kids appreciated the close proximity to the pool ;) Keystone Village was very family friendly something for all ages. As you said there was great biking and hiking right outside our door. We will definatly recommend this to friends and family and hope to be back! We had a remarkable getaway!!"

  • Location Location Location

"About us: We arrived for a long weekend on 16 January 2014. Our stay included 2 families each with young children. We all came to ski (except the youngest) and enjoy a winter experience. We are very happy with the visit and would recommend it. Our favorite thing was the great location of being able to walk to the Keystone lifts and enjoy the resort close by. The other great pluses were having a very comfortable house all to ourselves versus an attached property. We enjoyed the fireplace, the decor, the hottub and the lovely views. The house is a few years old but in good shape, a few minor upkeep/cleaning items but nothing we felt that got in the way of giving a top rating. It is also pretty noise sensitive house. It had pretty much everything we needed in terms of kitchen. It was a quiet location despite being very central. We had very quick responses by text and email and telephone to any question we had while we were there. It took us a few rounds to find in the dark. We did the first day Arapahoe Basin just because it was more economical private instruction for the group. It worked out that the kids adored the experience there. The skiing there was fantastic too. Keystone for the second day some adults did whole day skiing which was top notch, very kid & family friendly. On that day the kids joined in the afternoon and did some night skiing too. The children were thrilled by the fireworks too. That afternoon the kids did iceskating and explored Keystone village, played in the snow and built a fort. On the last day we did some tubing and played on the giant ice fort up on the mountain and some more outside activities."

  • Completely satisfied

"I stayed in this condo with my 3 teenage kids this past week and we were very happy with the whole stay. We have stayed in various condo units offered directly through Keystone in the past, but this time we went through VRBO and were completely satisfied. The unit is very well maintained with good quality furniture and fixtures. The unit is very clean and we especially appreciated that the kitchen was stocked with spices and condiments - the units run by Keystone always leave you with a barren kitchen. For me, I LOVED the good quality (firm) mattresses, as this is the first Keystone condo I have ever stayed in that had comfortable mattresses that didn't make my back ache."

Keystone Travel Tips

Keystone, Colorado, is the home of the Keystone Resort that was originally constructed in the 1970s. There are three mountains in Keystone: Decum, North Peak and The Outback mountains, and the resort was built and planned to accommodate skiers and summer visitors.

There are locker rooms and a fully-stocked golf shop in the clubhouse and a practice facility where you can warm up before you hit the green. The Sandwedge Shoppe at Keystone Ranch serves breakfast to-go, lunch and drinks. The River Course features elevation changes, bunkers, water hazards and a 194-foot elevation drop on hole 16. Take in views of Lake Dillon and snow-capped peaks. The River Course Grill serves breakfast and lunch as well as happy hour, while the golf shop sells apparel, accessories and equipment.

Mountain biking is a favorite summer past time in Keystone. Visitors can take a lift service to the top of the mountain before riding downhill through miles of trails and pathways. There are mountain biking clinics for those who want to try out the sport or take up a new hobby during their stay. In addition to biking clinics, you can rent a bike or boat if you want to head out for a cycling adventure, go on a paddle boat or take a canoeing excursion.

Head to Keystone Lake during the winter for ice skating and hockey. The five-acre lake is home to the largest Zamboni-maintained outdoor skating rink in North America and festively decorated during the holidays, complete with music. Ice skating is also an option at Dercum Square, as the area boasts a 7,200-square-foot ice rink in River Run. There's day and night skating and free ice time available for guests.
