"This property is just gorgeous. My husband and I wanted a private retreat to escape to for a week long getaway and this place exceeded our expectations. There are tons of things to do if you love the outdoors as much as we do. We took hikes, fished the stream and pond, watched for moose (which we saw one of the days), drove to Breckenridge one morning and enjoyed walking the main street, and even played a game or two of Super Mario Brothers old school. Yes, they have a Nintendo, perfect for the one rainy evening we had inside with hot cocoa. The weather was incredible when we were there (mid October). The grocery is just a short drive into Fairplay. So close, yet you feel completely away from it all by the time you get back to the cabin. We loved that there was acreage to hike and roam. We also brought our two dogs. They are like children for us, so having them there made our stay so enjoyable. We were so grateful to be able to include them on our vacation. The cabin itself is cozy and inviting with the most stunning views every window you look out. Some days we just sat in the living room, read and looked out at the mountains. Truly one of the most relaxing places we have ever been. Not another house in sight. Charlie and Monica have provided all that you need from plates, cups, coffee cups, linens, and towels. Seriously, everything you need for a getaway. We honestly don't have one complaint! Our time at this cabin was magical and we can not wait to come back next year. Just a little tip if you are from an area that is low altitude like we are....this amazing place is close to Alma (elevation 10,578 feet). Prepare for how your body may react to the altitude change. You don't want to have altitude sickness the first day or two you are there :) Thank you Charlie and Monica for being so quick to respond, available for any need we might have had, and allowing us to visit your beautiful home!"

"We have just returned from a 4-day family gathering at this house. The rooms and arrangements were perfect for our families allowing each family to have their own “area” and plenty of large gathering spaces for meals, etc. The location and the views are super. However, we noticed a number of items that have been neglected in the maintenance and cleaning areas. I spoke to the owner about these issues and he said that some of the items were in the works to be fixed, although there were a couple items that he wasn’t aware of but will look into. The outside decks are in the process of being totally rebuilt now that the city has finally given them the permits (October 2015 completion). With those issues addressed, I would recommend this home to any large gathering as a great place to relax and enjoy. I found out that the hot tub was brand new and we were the first to use it. It was super!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Silvercreek. Our unit was clean, updated and we loved the decor. By staying in Granby, we were close to other destinations, such as Winter Park, Rocky Mountain National Forest and Estes Park. We would visit other places and before we knew it, we were back at the resort. Lots of restaurants closeby and we could shop at a grocery store just across the road, if we wanted to cook in our in-room kitchen. We didn't want for any amenities. We highly recommend this facility."
