  • Perfect Getaway

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Icehouse. The property was in excellent condition. Very clean and comfortable. Bob was very welcoming and gave us some helpful advice on hikes as well as good spots on McClure Pass to watch the Pro Cycle Challenge. The Crystal Valley is beautiful and we'll definitely return to Icehouse to enjoy it again!"

  • nordic skiing vacation

"Cozy cabin. Centrally located to good and diverse nordic skiing. Redstone is a quaint old mining town in which to spend the winter holidays -- horse-drawn sleigh ride, ice skating, neighbors strolling the street, and friendly local businesses. Hot springs just a few miles away. We appreciated the selection of classic children's movies for our child, and the vintage record albums that helps those of us in our middle age, recall our youth! Kitchen is well equipped. Plenty of comfortable sofas and chairs to curl up in with a good book. Beds comfortable. Fireplace a plus! We heartily recommend this cabin to folks seeking a peaceful wintertime vacation."

  • Absolutely Perfect Holiday

"The Carriage house is a very cozy cabin with a fantastic outdoor area. The pictures are very accurate but being there is priceless. It is a gorgeous place. The cabin was clean and decorated so tastefully with great care. The owners are very friendly and helpful with directions and knowledge of the area. We went several places while staying in Redstone: Marble, Aspen and Crested Butte. The tour of the Redstone Castle is not to be missed. The next time I think we'll be a little less active so we can just sit and enjoy the peaceful Crystal River Valley."
