  • Summit Peaks North Family Reunion

"For the first time in Many, Many years 5 of 7 siblings plus our 90 year Mother were able to stay all together in this wonderful Lodge in the mountains of Silverthorne, Co. We all had a wonderful time and found the property perfect for our reunion. Some of us enjoyed hiking, zip-lining and rode the train in Leadville. The microwave was out of order so no popcorn by the fireplace...all in all we totally enjoyed the property."

  • Great for our dance group

"Loved it! The place is better than the photos, looks warmer and more comfortable in person. Stayed here with a group of 6 adults, only 1 couple, and the rooms worked out great. People loved having their own bathroom. Several people used the hot tub, which was pre-set to nice and hot, and said it was excellent. Everything was very clean and nicely set up. One mention, they have lots of Keurig coffee here, but if you want old-fashioned drip, bring your own. There might be filters and coffee somewhere, but we did not easily find them so were glad we'd brought some. This is very close to everything, easy for a bakery run early in the morning, and to the store to get the creamer we forgot. For breakfast the next morning, we loved the Arapahoe Cafe, 10 minutes away in Dillon. Really excellent. Despite a not-so-great forecast, the weather was pleasant enough to allow biking on the Dillon Dam road, which was really wonderful. All of our group wants to rent this again for next year...."

  • Nice property for a short stay in Summer

"Our recent stay included 5 families, 10 adults and kids ranging from 1-17 years. The property met most all our expectations. Location is convenient, near outlet shops, grocery store, coffee shop, fast food and a nearby rec center. We even came across a great bakery which was perfect to pick up a cake for a 50th birthday celebration. One slight dissatisfaction was the ability to maintain a wifi signal. The connection was very intermittent and not reliable unless you were in one specific room. Owner was available for contact, responded to calls and messages in a prompt matter. Aside from the wifi issue, I'd recommend this property to anyone on a budget, it's worth the value for a summer stay."

Private Homes Travel Tips

Silverthorne Ski Condos in the Middle of it All

If a centralized location is ideal for your Colorado ski vacation, then Silverthorne lodging is the place. First, Silverthorne offers the Nordic Center. What serves as Raven Golf Course during the warmer months, becomes a great place for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing from December to March. As if that's not enough, some of the most popular Colorado skiing destinations are less than 30 minutes from Silverthorne ski condos, such as Arapahoe Basic, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and Keystone. Stay a week at Silverthorne, and spend a day at each of these great ski resorts to get the feel for every mountain around you.

Denver – Just Around the Corner

As if access to all of those great skiing destinations from Silverthorne lodging isn't enough, the great city of Denver, Colorado, is less than an hour and a half away. After a nice breakfast in your vacation rental, get everyone in the rental car and take a day trip (or two) to see what Denver has to offer. Spend a day entertaining the kids at the Denver Zoo or the Denver Children's Museum. For a bit of romance, take your other half to a show at the Denver Performing Arts Complex or for a shopping spree at Cherry Creek. Finish the day with a nice meal at Bubba-Gump Shrimp Co., and head back to Silverthorne ski condos for a relaxing evening in the mountain air.

Vacation Rentals are Best

While you may have stayed in hotels before, once you experience Silverthorne vacation rentals, you'll never spend a vacation in a cramped hotel room again. Two main attractions stand out: plenty of space for everyone and a fully-equipped kitchen. Other possible amenities include a fireplace, washer/dryer, a private deck, and a hot tub (to name a few). Vacation rentals are always the way to go.
