  • Family holiday of a lifetime

"Wow! What an amazing fortnight we've just had at this stunning property. Our party comprised two adults, two 17-year-old boys, two 13-year-old boys, a 7-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy. All of us had a holiday that we will never forget! The location is delightful and the views, breathtaking. It is a wonderfully comfortable home and there is great attention to making your stay as pleasant as possible, from the lovely welcome hamper to the meticulous cleaning that takes place during your stay. The equipment is first-rate and everything works as it should. As for Snowmass, well we couldn't have found a better ski holiday location for a family. America knocks spots off Europe in terms of looking after you on the slopes. I lost count of the number of times I said "I love this country!!" after yet more friendly, helpful attention from those working in the resort. We were lucky with how tremendous the snow conditions were, given that we were in the resort at the tail end of the season, and I'd love to come back in early March one year, but even if the snow hadn't been so great, we'd still have loved staying at this place: it was spectacular! Thoroughly, thoroughly recommended."

  • Great Spring Break Escape!

"Location, location, location. Could not have picked a better spot for Spring Break- 2 Dads and 2 teenage daughters- had a great time and everything was perfect. Flew into Vail/Eagle (recommended if on tight schedule as Aspen Airport closes t flights or diverts often), caught CME shuttle door to door, easily took buses to/from Aspen 2 days all others were at Snowmass. Missy (owner) could not have made things any easier…emailed even snow updates prior to trip. Was great to sit on balcony and watch all the action at the mountain base and also to use the hot tub/steam shower after a full day on the mountain. Look forward to turning with our family of 6. Thanks again."

Snowmass Travel Tips

Snowmass Village is home to Snowmass Mountain, a popular ski area in Colorado with a summit of 4,406 vertical feet that features 3,332 acres of terrain with 94 trails and 21 chair lifts.

Snowmass Attractions

There is always something to do in Snowmass whether you're visiting during the summer or winter months. In the summer, try ballooning or paragliding over the area for breathtaking views that you'll never forget or try the rock climbing wall and Eurobungy trampoline. Disc golf is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, so why not learn how to play it on the side of Snowmass Mountain during your family vacation? Horseback riding, hiking, kayaking and rafting are other popular activities to participate in warmer weather.

During the winter, enjoy cross-country skiing, snowboarding and snowshoe tours or just taking your turn skiing or tubing down the mountain before taking the lifts back to the top.

The 18-hole, par-72 Snowmass Club Golf Course is another vacation must-see. This semi-private course has a learning center, practice area and clubhouse that's home to the Black Saddle Bar and Grille. Also at the golf club are 11 outdoor tennis courts where you can play a pick-up game or take lessons.

If the weather turns sour during your visit, head to Slopeside Lanes Bowling Alley for a night of fun. Here there are eight full-sized lanes and a lounge area equipped with a full bar, locally brewed beers, a wood-fired oven for pizza and upscale bar food.
