  • Perfect ski condo!

"My husband, two college kids, and I just returned from our stay at this fabulous condo. The owner describes the mountain home perfectly--it is a beautifully appointed, comfortable, well-maintained ideal ski in/ski out vacation home. Skiing out in the morning was a breeze; we just took the elevator to the ground floor and walked across to the ski locker, grabbed out gear, and went out the door. Skiing in was even more fun as we skied directly to the heated pool and hot tub deck, pulled off our skis, and stored them in the private locker. The view from the condo was lovely morning and evening, and we could thoroughly enjoy it from the dining room. The owner keeps a nice selection of music for guests to enjoy as well as movies, games, and books. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we were delighted to cook in and relax at the end of long ski days. Sitting by the wood fire in the evenings (after hot-tubbing and dinner) we talked about the day's favorite runs and planned the next day's adventures. I highly recommend this Chamonix slopeside condo."

  • Great Spring Break Escape!

"Location, location, location. Could not have picked a better spot for Spring Break- 2 Dads and 2 teenage daughters- had a great time and everything was perfect. Flew into Vail/Eagle (recommended if on tight schedule as Aspen Airport closes t flights or diverts often), caught CME shuttle door to door, easily took buses to/from Aspen 2 days all others were at Snowmass. Missy (owner) could not have made things any easier…emailed even snow updates prior to trip. Was great to sit on balcony and watch all the action at the mountain base and also to use the hot tub/steam shower after a full day on the mountain. Look forward to turning with our family of 6. Thanks again."

  • Was Perfect!

"This house accommodated our big family and nobody felt cramped. Plenty of room to spread out and yet all be together in one place. It might be a little dated but clean and welcoming. Highly recommend this home."

Snowmass Travel Tips

Snowmass Village is home to Snowmass Mountain, a popular ski area in Colorado with a summit of 4,406 vertical feet that features 3,332 acres of terrain with 94 trails and 21 chair lifts.

Snowmass Attractions

There is always something to do in Snowmass whether you're visiting during the summer or winter months. In the summer, try ballooning or paragliding over the area for breathtaking views that you'll never forget or try the rock climbing wall and Eurobungy trampoline. Disc golf is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, so why not learn how to play it on the side of Snowmass Mountain during your family vacation? Horseback riding, hiking, kayaking and rafting are other popular activities to participate in warmer weather.

During the winter, enjoy cross-country skiing, snowboarding and snowshoe tours or just taking your turn skiing or tubing down the mountain before taking the lifts back to the top.

The 18-hole, par-72 Snowmass Club Golf Course is another vacation must-see. This semi-private course has a learning center, practice area and clubhouse that's home to the Black Saddle Bar and Grille. Also at the golf club are 11 outdoor tennis courts where you can play a pick-up game or take lessons.

If the weather turns sour during your visit, head to Slopeside Lanes Bowling Alley for a night of fun. Here there are eight full-sized lanes and a lounge area equipped with a full bar, locally brewed beers, a wood-fired oven for pizza and upscale bar food.
