  • Great Location Snowmass Villlage

"Spent a week here recently with our two young families. Had beds for all, and all were comfy. Property had plenty of room, super location and view, useful kitchen...and hot tub , too. Kids loved tub after day's activities, and we appreciated the owner had weekly service to assure cleanliness. Plenty to do in the area hiking, gondolas, sightseeing....easy to find our way around. Owner was responsive to any questions before arrival and prop manager answered anything on site. Would recommend to others."

  • The perfect ski trip - the perfect ski house

"35 inches of snow the weekend before we arrived made the skiing one of the best we had experienced. It was our first trip to the Aspen/Snowmass area and we wanted to ski all of the area resorts, so instead of finding the usual “ski-in ski-out” condo, we looked for a local ski house for our base. I was attracted to the house by the photos on the website, and by the price. I contacted the owner and was impressed with how friendly and helpful he was. Based on the correspondence we decided to book the house for the week. Everything was perfect. The house was everything the photos show it to be. The location was great – in a quiet hillside neighborhood with a wonderful view of the valley and mountains. Two of our mornings the sky was clear so we had beautiful sunrises (most of the windows of the house face east, so you can’t miss the sunrises). It is barely a 2 mile drive to the Snowmass village, and about an 8 mile drive to the Aspen area resorts, so the drive was short. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill which would be a bit of a walk, but do-able. The owner provided a parking permit for the Snowmass Village parking area which was very nice. The kitchen was just like home, and well apportioned. If you like to cook you will find every gadget, measuring device, bowl, pot, pan, knife (about 30 knives sticking out of 2 wooden knife holders), turners, whiskers, that you could possibly want. The pantry was much better stocked than we have experienced at any of the condos we have rented – check to see what’s there before making the shopping trip. The house and bedrooms have a roomy and comfortable feel. The water heater in the laundry room is the biggest I have ever seen – there was plenty of water for each of us to have a nice hot shower after a day of skiing. And the electric blanket on each bed was a very nice touch. The house has wireless internet, and none of us had any trouble with phone reception. I had thought this trip to the Aspen area would be a once only trip but I loved the skiing (particularly the Highlands) and the ski house was fantastic, so now a return trip is definitely a possibility."

  • A Winner!

"We've enjoyed this home many times over the years. Highest quality construction and a spacious design, suitable for families and couples. Lots of windows and natural light make you feel like you're part of the aspen woods. And the deck can't be beat. Quiet cup du sac with lots of shade in summer and gold in autumn. Less than a five minute drive (25 minute walk) to the heart of Snowmass Village. And the owners couldn't be more accommodating."

  • Perfect for a family wedding

"We were coming to Colorado from Michigan and California for our first family wedding. The time of year is absolutely spectacular in Aspen, and this house added to our adventure. From hiking in Maroon Bells to a bike ride along the river, it was a perfect spot for all of us to regroup in the evenings. The town of Carbondale is a hidden treasure, and the ride to Aspen was very easy. From an epic wiffle ball game in the backyard, to late night euchre, it was the perfect house for us. Thank you Peter and Heather!"
