"Wow! This condo has everything you need and then some - tastefully decorated, roomy and comfortable, fully equipped kitchen. Peaceful morning coffee on the deck, which extends across the entire length of the unit. Easy access to the village area, free gondola rides up/down SkyCab (aka Skittles) to another village area where there were shops, restaurants and free concerts. Owner is accessible by phone/text and very responsive. Hiking at Snowmass was fantastic as well - we hiked from the gondola base (elevation 8104') up Vista trail, then continued on up Sierra Loop trail to Summit trail, ending at the Elk Camp Summit, elevation 12,510''. Views and scenery are remarkable - for those who do not want to hike it, you can ride the lifts for a fee ($20/person). We then rode 2 lifts down (free to ride down, $ to ride up). Mtn biking trail as well, bikes are sent up the Gondola, great trail to ride down! Market is very close to condo, making meals at the unit easy. Bus available to Aspen and Aspen Highlands, as well as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs. Aspen Highlands (Maroon Bells area) restricts traffic from 8am - 5pm - during these hours you must ride the bus ($6/person) to access Maroon/Crater Lake - you may enter by your own vehicle before/after these hours, fees apply at gate (if you have a national park pass, they will accept that). Maroon Lake is stocked and the fishing is great! Take the 1.8 mile hike to Crater Lake as well - not far and worth the effort! Rio Grande bike trail to Aspen is a must do as well...formerly a railroad line, converted to a bike trail, so fairly flat (note the coasting happens mainly from Aspen going north). Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this condo - highly recommend! thanks for sharing your place with us!"
