  • Ski vacation

"My wife and I shared Tamarack #5 with 3 friends from Europe for a week of skiing. John was great to work with and was always quick to respond to my e-mails. The house was just as advertised. When we arrived, I could not see the skiing area, and was nervous about getting to the slopes, but the directions provided were exact, and the lift was only about a 3 minute walk. The outside pool was a great temperature to swim in and the two hot tubs were large and great to soak in after a day of skiing. There was also a shuttle stop within 50 yards of the front door, so you do not need to use your vehicle at all while in the Snowmass village. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for a quite area to get away for a nice week of skiing. My only recommendation is if you plan on making breakfast and like non-stick pans, bring your own pan. The condo has plenty of cookware, but it in not non-stick. Great vacation house. My friends and I are already discussing trying to rent this property again next year. Just waiting on the dates to be finalized and verifying who can make it."

"We loved our time in this condo. For starters, location, location, location. It's a ski in, ski out situation, blissfully convenient. Lots of windows, lots of light, and stunning views from the terraces --two of them! upper and lower! The furnishings are comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is well-equipped, and conducive to spending nights at home, but there are many wonderful restaurants nearby, and a terrific shuttle service that picks you up and takes you all around. The owner couldn't have been nicer, and the staff at Woods Run is friendly and dedicated to service. Need a light bulb? It's there in three minutes. We ate out only a few times. Big thumbs up to the new Ricard's French bistro in Snowmass and Matsuhisa in Aspen. Best discovery after three days? The steam shower in the upstairs second bedroom. Fantastic! Summing up, we feel very lucky to have found our way to this condo, to Snowmass in general, and we look forward to returning."

  • Great house, every amenity you could want, beautiful views!

"Lots of space in this gorgeous home- what you lose in lack of ski-in/ ski-out convenience, you get back in spades with massive amounts of space, a fantastic view of the Roaring Fork valley from both the dining area and the hot tub. Fully loaded cable and multiple tv's, well equipped kitchen. Snow removal service so that the driveway is escapeable during the big storms. No, it's not on the bus route, but with a heated garage and two decent-sized rental cars, our group had no trouble getting to/ from the slopes with the two parking passes. And, cheap taxi services are available from the Village, since they must provide service to non-bus route residents. Wifi keeps everyone connected, couldn't have worked better."
