  • New years stay

"Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place, the basement was pretty cold, my son wanted to sleep on the bunk beds but as I said is was a bit chilly. The fire place was not cleaned nor under the beds. A bit disappointed with the cleaning service. Overall though a nice place."

  • Conveniently Located Updated Condo

"The condo is very conveniently located just a short walk from the Lionshead ski school, lifts and gondola, so great for families. It is in a dated building that is showing its age but the unit itself has been recently and nicely renovated and is very clean and comfortable with a good kitchen. The unit was well stocked with all the needed kitchen items from cookware all the way down to ziplock bags. Other items such as tissues, shampoo, lotion etc were also provided so not having to carry or shop for these for a weeklong stay was great. The owners were very helpful and left us good information on all the systems. We had a small problem with a locked door and they took care of it right away. I would recommend this unit for its location, great owners and overall comfort. Other than laundry facilities and a ski locker by the lifts there were no building amenities/conveniences such as a pool (there is a pool but it was closed) but the unit had a small sauna (we did not use it). Bottom line it's a nice unit in a no frills building but it did the job for us."

  • All the comforts of home

"This rental was exactly what we had hoped for. The house was on a mountain top and it was clean, very spacious and nicely decorated. The drive from main street/ downtown to the house was about 10 minutes but you got used to the drive so it was no big deal. The scenery up on the mountain was very relaxing and you don't hear any traffic noise. The kids even saw a fox on the way up which was way cool! The driveway steeps downward toward the home so make sure you have a 4 wheel drive. We always entered and exited the house from garage/ driveway and this was convenient. The beds were all very comfortable and bathrooms were all spacious. We had a family of 3 sleep upstairs and they were able to have privacy all to themselves. The basement was like our babysitter - we had all the kids play down there. They had toys, tv, and pool table to keep them entertained. The basement temp was a bit too warm at night so we kept the thermostat at around 65. We're from Texas so the dry air was a bit of a challenge at first but we got used to it. We were able to eat in (breakfast and dinner) most of the time which was great since we had picky little eaters. The refrigerator was big, clean and empty (except for a few condiments) - big plus for a mom like me! It was very convenient to cook, serve and eat all in the same area with lots of room for everyone. It was nice to relax in a clean, private hot tub surrounded by nothing but snow and trees after a day of skiing. We really enjoyed the bright stars at night. The little kids loved it too but afterwards we had to carry them back to the patio door. They didn't want to walk (all about 10 steps) back in the snowy path bc they were cold. It finally snowed on our last day and it was very scenic as we watched the kids build a snowman in the backyard. It was a memorable vacation. Thank you, Greg. :-)"
