"My husband and I have stayed at this gorgeous CO cabin for the months of June and September in 2013, and 2014. Both visits were splendid. This location is absolutely stunning on a private lake, ranch community, about 30 minutes outside of Steamboat Springs, CO. The cabin is very well appointed with just about anything you need for a comfortable stay. It is decorated in a western motif with lovely, quality furnishings. The owners did not skimp on making this a blissful retreat. They are very helpful and more than willing to give you recommendations on hiking, cycling, fishing, site seeing, restaurants, etc. We are looking forward to returning again in 2015. It is a dog friendly property."

"I have stayed in many places in Steamboat, we come here often to visit my son. This house was the most peaceful place I have stayed in! This place is outfitted with exactly what a vacation home of your own would have, plenty of cookware, bikes, tubes, beautiful flowers all around, hot tub, a gigantic TV, lots of seating, beautiful kitchen to cook in, steam showers! We didn't want to leave, on top of all of that they took amazing care of everything we needed. Thank you so much for having us! We will be back soon!"

"We rented the River House to have a place away from the action that served as a base for some family and just a quiet place to 'be'. Everything was great, wildlife was there, and the fishing was awful *wink*. A minor issue with the septic happened the morning of the wedding and was handled quickly. The best weekend of my life was spent on a world class property. A+."

"I was pleasantly surprised how clean and tidey the property was. Additionally, there were plenty of backup sheets, blankets, and pollows. One does not always provide the extras. I enjoyed all of the bike trails nearby, with the views of creeks and rivers just minutes away. Though warm days were cooler than the city, cool nights breezes came right after sundown. A few lights went out, and Suzanne was there whithin an hour to replace them. That was great of her. The back deck and hottub area had a view of a park 100 feet away, and the mountains across the valley. Neighbors were friendly and waved at me as I went by daily on my mountain bike adventures. Another surprise was how well the yard was manicured andtaken care of. A variety of plants added to the scenic view of the property. I saw a large Moose on a particular sunny day and that was a treat to see. I plan on returning to the area next Summer, and I would like to stay here again. I like to cook, and the kitchen provided all of the amenities to provide gourmet meals for all of my friends to enjoy. This house is 5 stars in my book~"
