  • Great house

"Great location. Place was very clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for. Jeff, the owner, was very helpful and easy to work with. We are looking forward to returning."

  • Place

"We rented this place back in 2002 when our boys were younger and thought it was terrific. Since then my husband passed away but always talked about going back to "The Villa" at Steamboat. I had the greatest joy of taking my 1 son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter(4 1/2yrs.old) with other friends this past month. They couldn't say enough about her being in ski school. She has never been on skis and by Thursday she was riding the lift and skiing down the 'bunny slope"!!! We had a wonderful time and the friends just couldn't say enough about The Villa, down to the firewood stacked neatly in the garage!!! the place was immaculate and every evening/morning we couldn't wait to look at the beautiful view of the mountain. I am definitely looking forward to another trip with both my sons and families and all of the grandchildren learning to ski at the "'Boat" and staying in this lovely place. THANK YOU for making it a dream come true."

  • A delightful ski vacation in a fabulous home submitted April 10, 2015

"I am back to work today after a delightful stay at your beautiful home. The house was incredible, we ate dinner at home some nights, grilled on the patio and ate out a few nights. Everything was there that we needed. The beds were very super comfy. I love the embroidered Edelweiss sheets and the Tempurpedic pillows! Wow, what a spectacular TV you have in the theater room! I felt like I could have dived into the ocean on the screen. The heated floors were a treat. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had a tournament playing pool one night and soothed our sore legs in the huge hot tub. With With 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, 2 kitchens 10 TV’s and a theater room and hot tub, what more could you ask for? One afternoon after a day skiing, the day after we were paid a visit by a red fox, we were relaxing in the living room and saw three moose come down the mountain behind the maintenance building and cross the road and walk right up your path to the hot tub and back deck. There were 2 females and 1 male. The male stayed hidden but the other two looked like they lived there. In fact one feasted on some buds of the tree and then lay down for an hour or so right outside the window to the left of the living room fireplace. I loved the river stone on the fireplace, the hand painted sinks. I could go on and on. I loved the stained glass lights going up the stairway…. The point is – Eleven of us had a really wonderful vacation in the Edelweiss Chalet. What a beautiful home in a great location. Hopefully, we can come back again another year and hopefully it will be a record snowfall year."

  • Cozy spot with a great view

"We just got done staying at the condo for 4 nights and had a blast. The condo sits on a small hill just off the side of the main ski slope overlooking the valley. We had no problems checking in and finding the place. The bedrooms were nice and the unit we stayed in had a large living room with 3 large windows. We kept the blinds up most of the time to enjoy the scenery. I would definitely recommend this place for a small family or group looking to relax but still be close to the slopes."
