"Our family of 4 stayed here in July 2015. Our family has stayed in 5 different condo's in Steamboat in the last 5 years, our first visit in the summer.
Phenomenal. Best unit we have stayed in vs. previous 4. Both bedrooms were great, ditto the bathrooms. Everything in good shape. Tasteful decoration, no overwhelming knick knacks. Really nice amount of room for everyone, it is a spacious unit. If you are into the whole 'stainless & granite' thing, this unit doesn't have that, but very nice. It truly was just a really nice condo. Balcony views the entire front side of mountain and base. We cooked in condo 2 nights, all needed utensils, plates, etc. right there. Pool is shared with the other Torian tower, with 4 adjacent huge hot tubs. Short trek via elevator to plaza level, then outside up a few stairs and there you are. During our stay few crowds at the pool, it was great. Adjacent store, restaurants, shuttle. Restaurants had some nice live music going every night which was cool. I suppose in winter you can't hear, but in summer we could listen from the balcony. Parking is under the building complex with luggage carts available which is nice and easy to transfer luggage. Condo is on top floor (8th), so truly the view is just incredible from the balcony. But if you are afraid of heights note the access to the unit, from the elevator, takes you outside on a mezzanine to get to the front door....8 floors up is high! Only downside on the unit is the master bedroom window is toward the outer walkway. There is only 1 unit past this one on the walkway, and all access to building is via keycard, so it is not like a parade of folks will come by, but it would make it awkward to have the window open if you were so inclined. Not sure if there are ever many bugs around but I know we had none on 8th floor, so no worries being out on the balcony.
Steamboat in Summer:
Awesome. We hiked, tubed on Yampa River, went to the rodeo, saw ski jumping, 4th of July parade. We didn't mountain bike but man was there a lot of that going on on the hill. Fun to hang out on the balcony and watch folks biking down Steamboat's front face. First visit with family to Steamboat in the summer. It was just really, really cool. Highly recommend it."
