  • Nice place to gather with family

"Our family had a great time in Steamboat. The property is as listed and was more than adequate for our four adults and 2 kids (11&13). It was clean and well stocked. The wireless was slow and sometimes hard to connect. Steamboat is a great vacation spot for all ages. We traveled the hour to Steamboat Lake and rented kayaks and paddle boards!"

  • Great condo with great view!

"My wife and I spent 7 nights in August in this wonderful condo. Everything has been updated ---great furniture, great appliances and fixtures --- it has everything that you might want including a spacious deck with a gas grill and great views! We could not have asked for a better place to spend a week in Steamboat. It does not have AC but with very effective ceiling fans, we never needed the AC even on some hot days. And if you are not interested in going outside of Steamboat, a car is not necessary since shuttle buses that take you throughout the town stop close by the condo."

  • Fun weekend in Steamboat

"Older unit that needs some updating ,especially the carpet. But the view more than makes up for it. Gary was a pleasure to deal with. Also, directions were good but cannot GPS without an address! We hope to have an opportunity to return to Steamboat, and would stay in this unit again."

  • Great place very convenient!

"I stayed there a month last spring and so I am late in posting this review, but the owner was so kind and accommodating, I really want to do my part to help him rent this condo for the upcoming season. The living room and dining area is very spacious, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The gas fireplace was great. Everything in the unit worked perfectly. The bedrooms are medium sized but very adequate. The closet space is great. But what is most amazing is the view from the living room and kitchen and dining area. The photo he shows is blown up a bit, but in real life it is even more incredible. You see the whole valley. Just gorgeous. The internet worked perfectly. The land line telephone worked perfectly. The resort has on call service for the shuttle bus to pick you up and take you to the central area where the gondola is. I never had to wait more than five minutes, usually only 2 minutes. I took a class that started earlier than the usual starting time for the shuttle, and they had no problem coming to get me early. The shuttle also has regular service to the downtown area and they will drop you off wherever you want. They will also pick you up at convenient stops. The town of Steamboat is fantastic. Two large supermarkets, a Walmart (not a superstore though), a great gym place with heated outdoor lap pool, lots of bars and restaurants and very fun nightlife, all within a few blocks of each other which is very convenient. Great live music every weekend. So what about the skiing? Obviously the best part of being in Steamboat. The snow is fabulous, lots of terrain. Best of all, no lift lines. I mean NO LIFT LINES. Even during spring break peak season for Texans, no measurable lift lines. Steamboat is so friendly and so laid back, it seemed the people didn't even know how to get in line. You would see people hanging out in front of the lift, and you wonder what they were doing there. Just ski past them and you are skiing virtually all day, no waiting. Makes a huge difference. OK, no place is perfect, right? Well, no pool at Yampa View, and the two outdoor Jacuzzis are adequate but not great. The condo is ground floor, and somehow you can hear creaking from every single footstep from the unit above. A minor annoyance, not so bad as to affect my sleep. Getting downtown via the shuttle is great, but getting back late (after 11 pm) involves the free city bus, and Yampa View is the end of the line, takes 40 minutes."
