  • First Class Accommodations & Easy Access To Slopes

"Had a wonderful stay here over Spring Break. This was our 6th year in Steamboat. We've stayed at the Sheraton and downtown at the Olympian in the past. We were not disappointed and loved our stay here. The accommodations themselves go head to head with the best in Steamboat. The shuttle service to the slopes and downtown is extremely convenient. Any and all needs were quickly responded to which was nice to see as well. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!"

  • Everything We Needed For A Great Vacation!

"The pictures in the VRBO listing do not do this place justice. It is nicely updated with granite and stainless steel, wonderfully comfortable couches in the living area, and the beds were also very comfortable. There are a couple things that I consider MUSTS for a vacation rental: Cleanliness, relative quiet (not saying pin-drop quiet, but reasonable noise level), comfortable sleeping arrangements, and good water pressure/hot water/nice shower head. This place had all those and then some. Sometimes I walked to the base of the ski area (trail just across the street, 10 minute walk), or I'd walk 5 minutes to the bus stop (bus runs by every 10-20 minutes, 2 lines run by the condos). Travel to the ski hill was easy, making it possible to leave the car with my traveling companion for her use during the day (non-skier). Plenty of parking and just steps from the front door. We did not have one single maintenance issue while we were there for 8 nights. ***One thing to note: there is no internet service provided, which is a nice escape for some, but if you are like me and require internet access, you'll need to make some arrangements. Check your cell phone provider; I was able to get mobile hotspot for $30/month and we brought our laptop. There may be other options, but that was easiest for me.*** I WILL be back, no question. I don't think there is a better deal available for the money. I've stayed at the base in places that were not as nice as this one, and for more money, for "ski-in, not-quite-ski-out". I just stored my skis and poles at the hill for the week (cheap) and honestly it was easy to do the bus thing. *As far as folks with disabilities, there are 2 steps leading from the door/kitchen area down to the living area, but besides that there are no steps involved.*"

"I wanted to say thanks to Mary for all of the help she gave us in booking our stay and then once we got there she was very attentive to our questions. It was very easy communicating with her through email. We also left a backpack and Mary was nice enough to mail it to our house. As for the condo it is ideally located. It was very easy to ski in/out. Just a short walk across the parking lot. The unit itself is well appointed and comfortable. The only complaint that I would have is the TV in the master bedroom is kinda small. Other than that we were very satisfied with our stay."
