  • An Autumn Wonderland

"What a getaway! Everything is as advertised. Attention to detail throughout, extremely clean with a fabulous location on Gore Creek make this a perfect "getaway from it all" spot to come to. Walk the gorgeous trail into Vail (5 mi), take the gondola up to the top have lunch and then walk about 30 minutes more and ride the Lionshead gondola down for a return walk through Vail and a bus ride home (stops at 2 locations in the VRC). A perfect full day outing with a hot tub to greet you upon arrival and then a BBQ on the porch by the creek. Endless summer hiking and biking activities, coupled with the incredible skiing location and VRC amenities make this unit a gem. Todd was absolutely accommodating and very easy to work with, as were the all the staff members of the Clubhouse . Without doubt we'll be back, as the only negative comment about our trip was that I didn't plan for a longer stay!"

  • Great owners, great property!

"My wife and I have stayed here for two separate ski vacations and will come back next year as well. This year, we were snowed in on the morning of checkout and could not get to the airport. We were frantic because all of our travel plans were cancelled. The owner (Todd) was in Vail for the weekend and was staying in his condo with friends after we checked out. Although we had never met previously, he actually invited us to STAY WITH THEM in the condo and told us we were welcome to join them for grilled steaks! We ended up finding another place in East Vail and got a bonus awesome ski day after 9" of fresh powder, but the fact that they were willing to take us in to help us out will never be forgotten. Oh, and by the way, VAIL ROCKS!"

  • Beautiful, clean, updated, comfortable

"We have owned a home in Vail for many years but occasionally we need extra space for larger family gatherings so we turn to VRBO. I give this property 5 stars for the following reasons: beautifully and recently updated, very comfortable beds/linens/towels, new and very comfortable mattresses, great layout with plenty of room, fantastic location in East Vail (2 minute walk to town bus, Racquet Club across street), and very organized, detailed notebook with all the information you would need. Finally, the owners were very friendly and responsive. You can tell they put a lot of effort into this property and keep it very well maintained. I hope by giving this 5 stars it doesn't get so booked up that we can't rent it again - but it does deserve it and if you need a 3 bedroom/3 bath place I think you will be very happy here."

  • Great Private Home

"Secluded East Vail location with beautiful private mountain views. Recent father /son spring break with my 23 year old son. Perfect for hard core skiers that don't need to be in downtown Vail. Looks like good location for girls trips or two couples on budget. Great value. And if your an expert with the right equipment and a knowledgable local you can ski home via the East Vail Chutes."
