Lives just like your own condo
"Stayed for 4 nights with a 3 and 5 yr old over Memorial day weekend. I'm a business traveler so I went into this with realistic expectations of what I'd be getting (for this price) and was pleasantly surprised. Very cozy. Extremely clean but it is dated with older (but clean) carpet throughout, just like the pictures and descriptions. While it is small unit, the extra 1/2 bath and two decks make it live bigger. King bed and queen pullout (with memory foam topper) were comfortable. The kitchen is great if you like to cook, literally everything you need (except groceries) to prepare any meal and a grill outside. Nice touch to find spices, olive oil, coffee filters coffee, etc. Plenty of good shampoo, soap, and other products were unexpected also. A Bose in the living room with lightning adapter and lightning alarm clock in bedroom were handy for charging iphones. 32" TV with cable and DVD in living room. No TV in bedroom.
Club house and pool were really nice. Blu's was closed while we were there so we ate out in Vail. Great location puts you close to everything for a reasonable price. Really nice to be able to park right in front and go up one flight of stairs and you're in and out. I would definitely stay again."

"Outstanding rental for any vacation. Great layout, super location and wonderful owners. Hot tub is really nice after a long day of hiking Vail Valley and steam showers in the morning can't be beat to get you loose and ready for a big day. And don't buy coffee filters, the owners have all the spices and little things like this already to go. Grocery shopping isn't a worry for your first day on vacation.
Skiing or summer this is a great unit to rent for family and friends."

"Having skied the Valley for 47 years we knew the features we wanted of a rental property for a two week winter stay...the Dobbs place was perfect! The kitchen was very well designed and stocked and the beds very extremely comfortable. Having the bus stop early in its route, we always had a seat. The cross country trail and snowshoeing areas were close by, we seldom drove our car. The pictures on their page give a good impression of the actual property. This is a perfect place for adults and older children during any season."

"My husband and I spent three nights at this lovely condo overlooking Gore Creek. Having stayed in several other units there, we found this one to be nicely updated and comfortable. It's location is adjacent to the footbridge, and we did find that this added to the noise level of an already very busy weekend at the resort. Just be realistic about the fact that VRC is very kid friendly! The kitchen was well appointed as advertised. I would have appreciated a few spices, other than the salt and pepper provided. I'd forgotten to inquire, because some units are "stocked" while some are not. I'd recommend this property to friends. We enjoy the VRC for it's location, access to the village via shuttle, tennis courts staffed with an on-site pro, and terrific pool and hot tubs. Hiking trails as well as the hikes up to Eagles Nest at Lionshead are close at hand. And the market just up the road makes picking up last minute items easy. The grounds were well maintained as usual. For those of you planning a trip outside of ski season, I'd recommend checking with the staff about scheduled maintenance projects...we've been taken by surprise by power washers, painters and the like during visits past. Regarding the audio/video system, my husband is in the business and was able to navigate, but for those of us who aren't, a simple guide would be helpful. Todd was easy to work with, and I'm quite sure that, should you book his unit, you'll be happy with your choice."
