  • Loved our stay - great place

"We had three couples stay here over super bowl weekend. The kitchen is amazing, and each couple had a bathroom attached to their bedroom. Within walking distance to slopes and Lionshead village, bus stop right across the street. The Living room is amazing, great comfy couch. Would highly recommend it.....oh and it has underground parking - very handy when its snowing! Very roomy - oh and loved the big table - we played games one night ----"

  • Ski weekend in Vail

"This condo provided the perfect base to ski Vail over several days. The condo was well furnished, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was cozy and there was ample room for us to hang out after a long day of skiing. The Intown shuttle is about 50 yards from the condo, so you can explore all of Vail Village & Lionshead without needing a car. The owner was extremely helpful and communicative. The condo might be a tad on the small side if you tried to fit more than 2 adults, but you certainly could use the pull-out sofa for additional guests. There is a full kitchen with lots of dishes/pots/pans/utensils so you can dine in and save a few dollars. The hot tubs looked inviting, but we never made it down stairs to check them out. We look forward to staying here again the next time we are in town. We recommend Terra Bistro, Alpenrose, and Sweet Basil for dinner in Vail Village. There is a storage locker in the garage under the condo (parking is included...which saves about $20+ per day) so we could store our skis/poles. The walk from the condo to the gondola / chairlift in Lionshead is about 5 - 10 minutes (any closer and you would pay 2x - 3x more per night). Highly recommended!"

  • Great place at a great price

"Super easy rental experience. Just like in the photos. Spacious well located unit with mountain views! Well appointed kitchen. Comfy beds and plenty of linen. Loved the gas fireplace. Very short walk to lionshead village and bus stop. Make sure you visit the Blue Moose for pizza! Only down side is a bit of highway noise but worth it for what you get."

Lionshead Village Travel Tips

More Space at Lionshead Village Vacation Rentals

Vail is a great vacation destination for couples and families alike. From world-class skiing and snowboarding to amazing sightseeing tours, there are activities for all ages. Lionshead Village vacation rentals are also great for all sizes of vacationing groups. These rentals have more space than the average hotel, making them the preferred Lionshead Village lodging choice.

Family-Friendly Attractions

You will want to plan plenty of entertaining activities when bringing your family to stay at one of the Lionshead Village vacation rentals. One free activity that is great for the younger members of your family is a visit to the Discovery Center atop the Eagle Bahn Gondola. The Discovery Center is packed with fun attractions such as educational displays and guided nature hikes. A tour of the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens is also a great family activity. The gardens feature unique mountain plants, children's programs and public tours.

Winter Excitement

When vacationing in Vail during the winter, you will likely want to go skiing or snowboarding on the area's world-class slopes. All skill levels are welcome on the slopes so bring along your skis and get ready for some winter fun. Another perk of staying at one of the Vail cabins is the plentiful storage room for your skis and snowboards when you aren't on the slopes.

Plan a Summer Hike

One of the most popular activities in Vail during the summer is hiking the region's mountain trails. All trail levels can be found here, whether you are an expert hiker or are looking for easier trails. Two popular hiking trails are the Deluge Creek Trail and Fall Creek Trail. Don't forget your hiking shoes when packing for your stay at one of the Lionshead Village vacation rentals. Always take plenty of water and snacks when hiking to re-energize along the way.
