"Our family stays at this condo every year during ski season, and we have a wonderful time there. The condo is located just a 2-3 minute walk from the Lionshead Gondola, and only a 15-second walk to the Vail in-town bus transportation. You can't get more convenient than that, not to mention all of the nearby restaurants and outdoor ice skating rink. The condo unit has great views of the ski slopes and surrounding mountains. In addition to the two bedrooms on the main floor, our teenage sons enjoy staying upstairs in the large bedroom loft, which has two beds in it...when they are not in the outdoor hot tub that overlooks the ski slopes. We also enjoy the wood-burning fireplace, which many condos in Vail are not allowed to have any more. The couch sometimes becomes a favorite bed, because it is so comfortable. The owners cannot be more friendly or helpful, and they have available a reserved parking slot just outside the condo building. Convenience, reasonable pricing and great location in the heart of the best ski mountain resort in the U.S. are what this condo is all about!"

"The condo is very conveniently located just a short walk from the Lionshead ski school, lifts and gondola, so great for families. It is in a dated building that is showing its age but the unit itself has been recently and nicely renovated and is very clean and comfortable with a good kitchen. The unit was well stocked with all the needed kitchen items from cookware all the way down to ziplock bags. Other items such as tissues, shampoo, lotion etc were also provided so not having to carry or shop for these for a weeklong stay was great. The owners were very helpful and left us good information on all the systems. We had a small problem with a locked door and they took care of it right away. I would recommend this unit for its location, great owners and overall comfort. Other than laundry facilities and a ski locker by the lifts there were no building amenities/conveniences such as a pool (there is a pool but it was closed) but the unit had a small sauna (we did not use it). Bottom line it's a nice unit in a no frills building but it did the job for us."

"This condo provided the perfect base to ski Vail over several days. The condo was well furnished, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was cozy and there was ample room for us to hang out after a long day of skiing. The Intown shuttle is about 50 yards from the condo, so you can explore all of Vail Village & Lionshead without needing a car. The owner was extremely helpful and communicative. The condo might be a tad on the small side if you tried to fit more than 2 adults, but you certainly could use the pull-out sofa for additional guests. There is a full kitchen with lots of dishes/pots/pans/utensils so you can dine in and save a few dollars. The hot tubs looked inviting, but we never made it down stairs to check them out. We look forward to staying here again the next time we are in town. We recommend Terra Bistro, Alpenrose, and Sweet Basil for dinner in Vail Village. There is a storage locker in the garage under the condo (parking is included...which saves about $20+ per day) so we could store our skis/poles. The walk from the condo to the gondola / chairlift in Lionshead is about 5 - 10 minutes (any closer and you would pay 2x - 3x more per night). Highly recommended!"
