"This condo provided the perfect base to ski Vail over several days. The condo was well furnished, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was cozy and there was ample room for us to hang out after a long day of skiing. The Intown shuttle is about 50 yards from the condo, so you can explore all of Vail Village & Lionshead without needing a car. The owner was extremely helpful and communicative. The condo might be a tad on the small side if you tried to fit more than 2 adults, but you certainly could use the pull-out sofa for additional guests. There is a full kitchen with lots of dishes/pots/pans/utensils so you can dine in and save a few dollars. The hot tubs looked inviting, but we never made it down stairs to check them out. We look forward to staying here again the next time we are in town. We recommend Terra Bistro, Alpenrose, and Sweet Basil for dinner in Vail Village. There is a storage locker in the garage under the condo (parking is included...which saves about $20+ per day) so we could store our skis/poles. The walk from the condo to the gondola / chairlift in Lionshead is about 5 - 10 minutes (any closer and you would pay 2x - 3x more per night). Highly recommended!"

"Great location complemented by wonderful staff made our stay in this lovely condo a real pleasure. The unit has been completely redecorated in a tasteful fashion. It provided all the supplies we needed for our stay. The immediate access to the outdoors made getting to the slopes a breeze. If renting the ski shop is on the way. The underground parking keeps cars snow free during the ski season. The hot tub and sauna provided great relief at the end of a long ski day. We would definitely stay at Lions Square and in this unit again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. This was our first ski trip with our kids (ages 4 & 6) and we were looking for something in close proximity to ski school. Short of camping in a tent at the base of the gondola, we couldn't have been any closer. The condo building is pretty dated but this particular condo has been updated some, it was well laid out, with a well stocked kitchen and the funishings were comfortable and nice. There were lots of shelves, drawers & hooks all over the place to hang all of our coats and gear. The space was very well thought out.
One of the aspects of the condo that we enjoyed the most were the windows around three sides of the living room. This really opened up the space and made for a pretty view. We've already started talking about our next trip and we hope to rent this same condo again."

"The condo was very well furnished with only a few exceptions. Beautiful kitchen with a great Wolf stove. Wine cooler was a plus. Beautiful living area with fireplace, but the fireplace didn't work. There was a note saying parts were on order, but for the price, that was rather disappointing. You expect a fireplace on a ski vacation and they made sure the fireplace was prominent in the advertisement pictures, but nothing was mentioned at any time about it not working. This condo is not quite ski in/ski out, but the short walk was truly short. The location of the condo made the ski storage service less convenient than carrying our skis to the condo.
The front desk was very helpful whenever needed and started our trip off with a personal guide to the parking spots and into the condo. They also helped in directing the Black Tie ski rental guys to our condo.
Lighting in the bedrooms was dim at best.
The one room with pull out couch and trundle bed was not well thought out. There was no way to pull the truly comfortable trundle bed out to make a full size bed since the heavy couch was in the way. The couch pull out bed was too thin to be at all comfortable. Since I stayed in that room by myself I was fine on the trundle bed without pulling it out, but you should get rid of the couch. Maybe replace it with a upholstered chair or love seat. One of the three lamps in that room had the switch broken off and without that lamp it was pretty dark."
