"Very pleasant living space. Great amenities accessible within condo. Proximity to lift was excellent. Only complaint was twin beds; understand that some guests have children or non-related visitors, but perhaps some flexibility could be exercised in the form of exchanging for a larger bed if required."

  • Annual ski trip

"Had a great time once again in Vail, largely to the great accomodation we had. It's location couldn't get any better in my opinion. The staff where very obliging and the unit was spotlessly clean, and most importantly was very competitive price wise. I would thoroughly recommend to stay here. I will be back next year."

  • Cozy, comfortable condo in great location

"Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teenagers) stayed in this condo the week between Christmas and New Year's, and found it to be everything the previous reviewers indicated. The condo was light, clean, comfortable, well equipped, with terrific views, and the location was so perfect to everything - we were easy walking distance from ski lockers, restaurants, and shops. Walking into the condo did feel like coming into someone's home versus a rental - we have had experiences where basic things like soap in the bathrooms or kleenex were not provided. This was definitely not the case in this condo. There were sturdy, working humidifiers in each room, plenty of firewood, cooking oils, spices, pots, pans, ziploc bags, foil, and plastic wrap, as well as full-sized bars of soap in the bathroom, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, extra toilet paper and kleenex stocked in the laundry area. Even a sewing kit with the right colored thread was there, which I gratefully found when a top I packed needed immediate mending. The internet connection worked great for our iPhones and iPads, but we could not get our laptop computers to connect. The condo was spacious and light, and there was plenty of space for all of us - again, definitely not always the case in other rentals we've had in Vail. The ski locker in town was super convenient for storing skis and saving the hassle of lugging skis, poles, and boots back and forth every day. Beds were comfortable, and the welcome bottle of wine definitely appreciated. Warning: Assigned parking spot in the garage is super narrow, so parking our large SUV in the space was virtually impossible with a vehicle on one side and a pillar on the other. Outside parking was an option, but daily snowfall made it a less attractive one. Owner was responsive and easy to contact. All in all, we loved our stay in this unit, and would definitely plan to rent it again for our next trip to Vail."

  • Delightful, Convenient, & Inclusive!

"Staying someplace new can be a lot like wandering through a minefield... Unless the property owner is as accommodating, thoughtful, and attentive as Bill. It made a huge positive difference for us during our one-week stay at the height of ski season. The property is well-maintained (Bill tells us it's due for a "refresh" this spring) and comfortable - just like home, with a killer view of Gore Creek. It's less than a 10 minute walk from the gondola, there's a (expensive) sundries store across the street, and the Sonnenalp is next door (fondue!). For those who might be noise-sensitive, we found the property to be whisper-quiet during our stay (it's on the end of the building, so no neighbors, and we heard no noise from upstairs). Overall, we loved it!"
