    "Great setup for larger groups. Walk to bus was an easy 5-7 minute walk which drops you right at Vail resort. large deck and gas grill were perfect for the unusually warm weather. Stove, toaster, and Coffee maker were not in the best shape, but usable. Highly recommend this place. High quality for the price!"

  • Comfortable, beautiful, and perfectly located- can't wait to go back!

    "My friends and I (3 adults, 1 child) stayed at Linda's and Viggo's ski chalet for our annual ski week at Vail. The space is wonderful and very practical for skiers: the large entrance way is perfect for storing ski clothes and boots at the end of the ski day, while the living space itself is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and offers a stunning view of the mountains. The kitchen is great and fully equipped, the washer & dryer are very convenient, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a hard day of skiing. We discovered that on most days, we could park for free at John Donovan Park (5 minute drive) and take a shorter bus ride to/from the hill. This eliminated the need for a slightly longer walk to the bus stop closer to the ski chalet in ski boots and carrying skis. We took the Red bus to/Green bus from Lionshead village, at the Matterhorn bus stop next to Donovan park. Worth checking out at vaileventparking.com . Having said that, the ski chalet is perfectly located, within easy walking distance from Safeway and City Market, Sports Authority and several other stores and restaurants. It also has very easy on/off car access to Frontage Road (south and north) as well as to I-70, making it perfectly located. We highly recommend staying here. Linda and Viggo were very responsive whenever we were in touch both before and during our stay, and were great hosts. We look forward to going back next year!"

    "House was great. Location close to grocery store and the bus stop is only two houses away. Views on deck were perfect while using hot tub."
