Meadow Ridge Travel Tips

Learn and Play by the Meadowridge condo rentals

The Meadowridge condo rentals are as beautiful aesthetically as you will get when you are in Colorado. The condos peer over the Fraser Valley with the Continental Divide in the background as well.

There are plenty of things to do when vacationing at the Meadowridge condo rentals. If you're a big rollerblader, head to the Fraser River Trail where you will have your own inline skating trail to zoom down. Also, take a walk through History Park where you will find statues of all the great pioneers of the state of Colorado.

If you are still in the learning mood, there are museums too. Try Cozens Ranch Museum off Highway 40. It is one of the oldest places in the Valley. In its prime, it spanned close to 800 acres while also serving as the post office spot. The area was built in the late 1800s.

Experience the outdoors

Want some fun for the whole family while staying at the Meadowridge cabins? How about a hot air balloon ride? Try this once in a lifetime experience in the wee hours of the morning. Wear warm clothes because even during the summer, it can be a bit chilly. Try another rare activity in fly-fishing. The Colorado River, the Fraser River, the Meadow Creek Reservoir, and the St. Louis Creek are all good spots to do so. If the water freezes, ice fishing also can be very popular.

Also by the Meadowridge cabins, you can find the Rocky Mountain National Park. Experience the pure views that will take your eyes as far as Wyoming. Besides hiking, you can sign up for courses to learn about nature or even learn about the park's history at the main center.

If you come and stay at Winter Park vacation rentals, cold or warm weather, you are guaranteed to have a blast.
