"Our journey from DIA to this property was a relatively short drive, in comparison to other Colorado ski areas, 2 hours from airport to Fraser. Upon arrival at the residence, unpacking the vehicles in the spacious garages where all ski gear was stored, our Winter Park vacation began as we discovered fantastic views of the Winter Park ski area from every room in the house. Our first family activity was to prepare our first meal in the well appointed kitchen. The open plan of the living room/dining room/kitchen made it a family affair. Our adult children and their families settled into their bedrooms on the lower level, which also has a living area, while we grandparents enjoyed the privacy of the master bedroom/luxury bathroom on the first floor. At the end of each day, the hot tub was a favorite spot to relax. The kids also enjoyed the hill behind the house to get more time in the snow with a little sledding. The large utility room/pantry, plus the additional dryer in the garage, allowed laundry for 10 to be a more manageable task. It was apparent that the owners had given extensive consideration of every conceivable need one might have while staying in their lovely Colorado home--a place for everything and everything in its place. We would definitely consider staying in this residence again. We hear that the summer activities are numerous as well."Guest: Dennis B. "This house is a great house for two families with kids. The bunk room was perfect for the kids with a bathroom right across the hall. The weekend was very cold and being able to pull our cars/SUV right into the garage was really helpful. The hot tub was the perfect end to a long ski day. Overall we really enjoyed our experience. Also, the property manager Becky was very responsive and helpful! The few things that made our stay good but not excellent were little things that really make you feel like your at home. There was no sugar for coffee in the morning, the paper towels had three left when we got there and no back-up, we could not find any paper napkins or napkins at all for meals. The TV in the master did not work and both the TV's in the bedrooms were very old. We also had some bad luck in that the dryer broke the night before we got there. With 8 of us showering and using the hot tub we ran out of dry towels very quickly and had no way to dry our wet ones. We would rent this house again and just remember to bring the few particulars that were important to us."Guest: Dana Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: February 10, 2014View listing

"Our family of 4 stayed here to ski and see the area over Thanksgiving. Great skiing just down the road, easy access to Safeway, and in a quiet setting. The whole place is well outfitted and very comfortable. The kitchen has just about every utensil one would ever care to need for just about any meal. While cold outside we had plenty of warmth inside; a nice fireplace, and plenty of family entertainment for the whole bunch."Guest: Bob Date of Stay: November 2013 Review Submitted: December 11, 2013View listing
