  • Peaceful family getaway

"Plenty of room for 3 adults and 4 kids - we loved having 3 bathrooms! The upstairs balcony was the adult retreat. I slept with the sliding glass door open part -way every night so that I could hear the rushing river below. (It was a rushing torrent, probably because of the melting snow - so we had to watch the children with hawk-eyes.) This was the annual grandkids trip. When I asked them where they wanted to go this year for their summer vacation, these East Texas kids told me that they wanted to play in the snow - So this Texas family headed to CO. There was plenty of snow in the upper elevations on the western side (closest to Granby) of RMNP. We played til exhausted or frozen every day, hiked the short trails, shopped in Estes Park (a 2 hour drive), and made s'mores in the outdoor fire area. We had a full moon - it was absolutely beautiful. We were here the 2nd week of June and we were the only family in the development. We made good use of the hot tub at night and did a lot of our cooking in the well equipped kitchen. We were happy to find a great grocery store in town and found two red-box video outlets (at the grocery and the 7-11)! The owners were always responsive to our questions. I would definitely recommend this rental."

  • Fall days in the Rockies

"This is a wonderful place with great views of the mountains. We came with our adult son, each had our privacy with own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped to cook whole meals. Temperatures were below freezing at night but we were cozy inside. We brought our mountain bikes and even though the lifts weren't running anymore there were enough trails to explore right outside the door to keep us busy. Can't wait to come back and ride the lifts to take advantage of all the downhill rides. For a more gentle ride there is the trail Granby-Fraser to explore. Rocky Mountain National Park is right around the corner with beautiful hikes of any ability. After activity filled days it was nice to come home and relax in the hot tub of the amenity building, catching a football game, or just reading on the comfy couch. We saw moose, deer and fox, the latter right outside the door. The town of Granby has a couple of nice coffee shops and Mexican restaurants and the City Market is conveniently down the street. We can't wait to come back for some skiing in Sol Vista and nearby Winterpark."

  • Perfect Weekend!

"I stayed in this lovely condo for the weekend of my wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. The owners were a real pleasure to deal with and we had zero issues. They were aware that the weekend was our wedding and added a few extra touches that really made it special. I wish only that I wasn't so busy that weekend to enjoy the place more! My new husband and I enjoyed staying there so much that we hope to go back in the winter for a ski weekend!"

  • Outstanding Home

"The views are beyond incredible, it has a mountain feel, with lots of luxury appointments. We had children 9 & 14 and the rest adults on our trip, the kids loved the pool table and play area downstairs so they could have their own fun away from the adults. The ski mountain is around a couple of bends, so very easy to access and you really feel away from things, excellent location in Granby Ranch. This was our second trip and everything was taken care of and set up nicely."
