"We are so happy we chose this hightop hideaway cabin for our family vacation. We enjoyed the wildlife outside the window! We saw mule deer, mom and baby moose and white fox! The house was clean and decorated perfectly, the kids loved the games and movies already there. The land was private with fantastic view. It was breathtaking and close enough to town to shop and eat. We did the Georgetown railroad loop and mine tour and Estes Park while exploring on bikes and trails near by. We had a perfect vacation, Lisa was a great host and we have no complaints whatsoever except we wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Comfortable, spacious home, well suited for togetherness and privacy at the same time. Beautiful views and surroundings. It all provided a very relaxing family tine. We were also close enough to hiking and outdoor activities for the young ones, along with close access to good dining, groceries, etc. Loved it."

"Our family throughly enjoyed this property. It was comfortable and the vistas were excellent. We even got to watch a hot air balloon land nearby several times. What a great way to have coffee on the deck in the morning. Animals we saw while on this trip were: Beaver checking his dam every night; antelope in the meadow; cows in the meadow; hummingbirds feeding on the back deck; Herds of elk in the park; moose in the park; fox in the neighborhood; and all kinds of birds everywhere. A photographer's paradise. The BBQ grill was always in use and never failed to turn out a great meal. The unit sleep a lot of folks of all ages from 70's to 4 year olds. The games there were a blessing as everybody had a fun time with the board games. We had a "no electronics" rule and were pleased by the amount of conversation that resulted. The WIFI was adequate. The closeness to all kinds of activities was a plus. From there we did white water rafting, zip lining, horseback riding into the national park, bicycle trips, fishing in the nearby pond, boat trip around Grand Lake, and played on the playground. The location was perfect. We were able to take day trips to Rocky Mountain National Park, Maroon Peaks in Aspen, Steamboat, Vail, Estes Park, Georgetown steam railroad, and July 4th parade in Granby. There were so many dining opportunities, it was hard to choose. The only caution is not with the property but the traffic on Friday coming up into the mountains from Denver and returning on Sunday. I would recommend this property as excellent. The owners were easy to work with and if there was a problem (very few) they responded immediately. We plan on returning!!"

"What a wonderful house for a family retreat to relax and take advantage of the mountains. We stayed over Christmas and had such a nice time at all the events in the area (bonfires, sleigh rides and skiing). The restaurants in the area were excellent the neighborhood was delightful to show shoe around the lake with sledding for the kids. We'll definitely be back! Susan"
