  • Very nice condo. Great location!!

"This condo is very well maintained and stocked for those that like to cook in. The location is excellent as you can walk to anyplace in downtown Winter Park. The unit has a nice patio to have Happy Hour on and watch the sunset. It's on the third floor but that's not a problem as the elevator is conveniently located. We really enjoyed our stay and will put this one at the top of our WP list!!"

  • Great accommodations

"Our annual ski trip brought us to Winterpark and we hit the jackpot with this wonderful skI in/out studio at Iron Horse! The condo is cozy and well equipped with everything that a couple (or a family with a small child or 2) needs to be comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, including an indoor grill, blender, crock pot and plenty of dishes and pots and pans. This is the most well stocked kitchen we've ever used in a vacation rental. The hot tub, indoor/outdoor pool and fitness room were all very nice and easy to get to via the enclosed bridge to the next building. It probably took 2 minutes to get to that area. We loved the ease of getting to the slopes. The ski locker room and trail access is just one floor down! It is only a few minutes drive to the grocery store or restaurants and shops. Also there is a great hiking trail directly across from the WP entrance. The owners were very easy to work with and communicated well with us before and during our stay. Any question we had was answered by quick text. One negative comment not related to this unit, but the Iron Horse itself.... The community outdoor grill looked like it needs serious maintenance and it was disappointing to not use it, but we were thankful the condo had an indoor grill to use. And a tip for the DIY cleaning and laundry: we laundered all the towels the night before we checked out and used the community pool towels instead. This saved us time in the morning. The dryer takes 2 cycles to dry the towels. Thank you to the owners! We would definitely stay in your condo again!"

  • Perfect choice!

"We did a lot of research before deciding to rent this condo for our Spring Break ski trip, and it turned out to be perfect for our family (6 adults and 1 child). The view is amazing, and location is great for skiing and other activities (snowmobile, tubing, sleigh ride, shopping, restaurants) just minutes away. The kitchen is well stocked (we cooked all but one night). Tried Hernando's Pizza the last night based on others' comments and it was yummy. Beds were comfortable (note the former twin room now has a bunk bed with twin top, queen + pull out twin on the bottom). Really nice master suite. Hot tub was great after skiing. Owner and agent were very responsive. We would come back in a heartbeat!"

  • Spot On!

"A perfect holiday begins with a good night's sleep (specifically if you've flown to your destination) and a good night's sleep was indeed what we got (good and proper). This condo was centrally located between the mountains and the extreme convenience of the Town, public transport, free shuttle bus, walk to restaurants, etc. the underground parking was convenient (thou VERY DODGY, with it's claustrophobic, barely hanging onto it's structure ceiling, in the same breath the Police/Sheriff Dept. parks there, so go figure, so I won't hold the "owner's" responsible for the parking). It's a very well-appointed, clean unit with all the comforts, necessitates of home feeling, a comfortable terrace right off the living area (w/fireplace, wicked!) offering views of the mountains. Quite full of light, open concept, airy just gorgeous to spend some time in during any season. We loved that it was located at the end of the building itself, gives one even more of a private setting. We had a gorgeous time as it was our first time in Winter Park area, and staying at this unit just made it all the more so. Cheers, see you soon."
