  • Amazing

"Our group had an amazing time in winterpark over the Presidents' Day holiday weekend. Not only did we get a ton of powder and had great skiing, but we had the most comfortable, homey scenic, and awesome place to stay! There was plenty of space for all of us to hang together after a day of skiing. The shuttle service to take us to and fr the mountain was very accommodating to us. This house made our vacation even better!!"

  • A nice place!

"My buddy and I came to Keystone for a big bike ride. Russ's place worked out perfect for us; like getting 2 places for the price of 1. There is separate living space upstairs and downstairs. It is very spacious with great views of the ski area and a peek view of the river (you can hear the river from the deck). The condo was clean, comfortable, conveniently located and nicely furnished. The owner, Russ, was responsive and a pleasure to work with. A great place and a great value."

  • Five Star Quality...

"is obvious in every detail. Fine floor plan, soaring ceilings (with all the spotlights in working condition), strategically situated next to ranch land, bountiful bedding and bath towels, comfy furniture, meticulous condition (including the hot tub), handsome but not overdone decor, kitchen stocked with quality cooking appliances, implements and spices, oil, condiments, etc. Floor plan allows privacy along with communal space. The owner kindly accommodated our change in booking dates that became necessary. This is a true winner!"

  • Ski home

"Lovely property. Only criticism would be that the kitchen was not well outfitted for easy eating at home. Needed are more regular dishes, silverware, serving dishes/ casserole dishes, mixing bowls, salad bowls etc-- we were often without needed items to cook and serve a meal."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
