  • Excellent Property

"We spent a week skiing at the areas in the vicinity and the Executive Chateau was perfectly situated for easy access to all of the major ski areas and local businesses. The home was well stocked with amenities and was very comfortable. Needless to say, we had a great time!"

  • Xmas family vacation

"The pictures of your home did not do it justice. It was lovely. My son from Denver was the first one to arrive & he phoned to say the house was wonderful! We could see Super Bee lift & tubing hill from windows & it was walking distance from house. Even though we had 3 feet of snow while we were there, no worry as people were plowing the street, snow blowing the drive & shoveling the walkway! The house was big enough for our group of 11 persons, everyone had their own space, dining area was large enough. Boys enjoyed their own bunkbeds & apt. All went well & we all enjoyed our stay."

  • Great For Our Family

"Our family stayed here and at the guest house for 5 days. There were 9 adults and 6 children ages 2,4,4,5,6,8. We had a great time and enjoyed the house. Each adult family had their own bedroom. The property was clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful and prompt in answering our many questions. The house is about 10 minutes from Carbondale, where we enjoyed the 4th of July parade. The Maroon Bells near Aspen were great fun and we saw the now famous Bull Moose (2 of them) near the falls just up from Maroon Lake. Of course, the pool at Glenwood Springs was a great hit for the whole family. We also did a jeep trip from Marble to Crystal and the Mill on the Crystal River was really fun to visit. We enjoyed the kitchen at the house and ate all of our meals there. The pictures are accurate, although they do not do justice to the incredible view of Mt. Sopris. Thanks for a great vacation! PS- We rode the Amtrack train up to Glenwood from Denver. It was TERRIBLE! It took 10 hours to get from Denver to Glenwood. Don't do the train!!!!"

  • Great house!

"Spent a week in this home with friends and really enjoyed it. 8 of us and there was plenty of room to get lost. Main family room has a great view of the mountain. Kitchen was the best! Huge and they actually have all the necessary cookware to make a meal. I have been so many places that leave you with one scraped up pot. Owners were very responsive every time I texted them with a question. We found a great access to the ski lift just down the street at Marriots Mountain Valley Lodge. There is a sidewalk along the south side of the Lodge that leads to a lift. Easy place to drop off and get picked up. Only a couple minutes from the house and no one else ever there."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
