  • Mountainside 67

"We just got back from 3 nights at Mountainside in Granby Ranch. Admittedly, we are very familiar with Summit County but not so much with Grand County. We went for the purpose of getting the girls in ski lessons at Granby Ranch (formerly Sol Vista). We had heard it was a good mountain to learn on and very family friendly. That was very true. In fact, we ran into 4 Denver families we know! The girls had 1:1 instruction and very much enjoyed their two days on the mountain. We came home to Mountainside 67 and relaxed in our own hot tub and enjoyed the beautiful views right outside our window. The condo is nicely furnished, very open, lots of light and very well stocked. Great dining table for eating and also for games. The kids loved the upstairs loft hideaway and everyone thought the beds were very comfy. We sprawled out on the couch and watched movies at night. It was a great spring break getaway."

  • Linda Casa

"Muy bonita casa muy bien cuidada, todo perfecto. La única queja es que la cocina no tiene los implementos necesarios para cocinar para 8 personas, faltan utensilios de cocina. estaba mala la tostadora eléctrica y la cambiaron por una nueva en menos de una hora, la limpieza es muy buena. recomiendo 100% esta casa para el que quiere las mejores vacaciones."

  • One of the best vacations...

"This was mine and my wife's first trip to Breckenridge and we found this little flat on VRBO and decided that the location and price was in our favor. I would have to say that this was in the Top 3 of the best vacations that we have ever taken. The apartment was at the base of a beautiful home overlooking a little river and stunning views. It was very private and cozy. The king bed was a plus, the bathroom was excellent, and all of the other amenities were just topping on the cake. The communication with the owner was superb!! We stayed for 4 nights in February and it was exactly what we expected... Spectacular!! The location to Main street, skiing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, restaurants, etc were perfect. You could take your car or the free shuttles. We ended up taking our car everywhere and had no troubles parking and getting to and from. I would definitely stay here again! We just loved the location and the comfort. Nothing bad to say at all."

  • Perfect location

"Let me start off by saying that I have been skiing Colorado for 30 years. One of our main goals is to be close to the mountain and this townhome is only a 4 minute walk to lift access. We hardly used the ski lockers at the base because the townhome was that close. The townhome is over the top, I couldn’t be more pleased. Again the main thing is location and this one has it all. When you walk in, it feels open and spacious, but somehow the floorplan allows for plenty of privacy. The home was fully furnished with high-end bedding, towels, amenities, dishware, and furniture. The master bath has a great steam shower after that last run of the day. This was our first time to ski Beaver Creek, we skied 67,000 vertical feet in 3 days, the runs and lifts at Beaver Creek are the best and plan to return."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
