  • Great stay

"The house was clean, roomy and comfortable for my family of seven with college kids down to a one year old. The gates for the stairs were helpful. Good selection of toys for the baby, but not much available for the older kids and adults. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware, but was missing condiments I expected to be there such as mustard, ketchup, mayo. It was our first stay in a VRBO house, so maybe refrigerator items are not typically stocked. There were some pantry items. We had problems with the internet the first day, but after a few calls back and forth Kelli had it working for us. Overall, the house was great and my kids want to stay there again."

  • Excellent place

"This place is so great -- very cozy and quaint and newly remodeled, lots of amenities, fantastic location. And the owners were very communicative and helpful. This is really the full package, wish we could have stayed longer. Would most definitely rent again."

  • Great Value...Great Place

"A very comfortable condo at a very reasonable price. We found this condo to be cozy and exceptionally clean. The bed in the Master Bedroom was very comfortable and contributed to a great nights sleep. We are already looking forward to a return visit."

  • Great weekend stay

"We stayed at this property for 2 nights. There were 2 families with 3 kids each ranging in age from 2-16. The space was perfect for all of us and the kids were in heaven with all the amenities. We usually stay at the Zephyr Mountain lodge when we go to Winter Park for the ski in/ski out access but those units are MUCH smaller than what we experienced at his property. Plus, the parking pass made up enough for the ski in/ski out bonus. Maggie was also very professional and easy to work with. My only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer!!"

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
