  • Perfect Mountain Getaway

"The home was better than advertised. Immaculate, well furnished, great views and setting. Everything worked great - the owners were accessible and helpful. The kids played air hockey endlessly. It's really not very far from Breckenridge and the ski lifts, probably less than 10 minute drive. My only word of caution - the roads in the neighborhood and not well maintained - I would recommend a four-wheel drive only, or front wheel drive with snow tires, otherwise, you're gonna have a bad time."

  • Hi Country Haus August 2014

"We enjoyed our stay at this Condo. We visit Winter Park every summer and this is the first time that we rented this condo. The setting on the Fraser River was amazing and the accommodations were just as described. We will definitely plan to stay here for all future visits. Location was great and close to everything in Winter Park. We have kids ranging from 18 to 5 and it was perfect for them as well."

  • Nice Condo Near Slopes!

"The owner has done a very nice job furnishing and equipping this condo. Although we didn't cook while we were there, the kitchen was well-stocked with the usual supplies and much more. The furnishings are much nicer than most units we have rented in the past, and very comfortable. This is the only unit on the top floor, so it was quiet and equipped with quite a few windows. The balcony was generously sized as well and the ski locker right outside the front door was much appreciated. We are used to having to drive to the slopes and use shuttles, etc., so it was a nice treat to be able to walk out the front door an be on the slopes in just a few minutes. We plan on returning!"

  • Amazing Breckenridge Home!

"Absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful home. Completely up-to-date with the best appliances, granite, furnishings and everything in the kitchen a chef could want. The spa was GREAT! The fireplace in the master suite was a nice touch. The extra large shower with detachable showerhead was awesome - and I even used the jacuzzi in the bathtub. We had six adults and never ever felt cramped. The views - especially from the top master suite was outrageously beautiful. I think we'll be staying again in the summer. As other's noted, it's a good idea to have a rugged all-wheel drive car or truck in the winter as it's a little treacherous (and we were there in March!)."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
